He could've literally thrown his sword down the valley and teleport it above naruto's head and have it perice him like butter if what you said was true.

Besides you're the one who doesn't know how the jutsu works if you think all it can do is just swaping when in many occasions it was used without swaping.

No he'd have to throw the sword and switch with it when naruto attacks him head on or if sasuke was teabagging naruto.
