[Suggestion] Give something we could work for, MOTIVATE US.

There is NOTHING this website gives us that other webs give. We need something to work for... We need the admins to create something to motivate us to use this and make us enjoy it. A business manager needs to motivate it's employee so the employee are happy and work harder. IF this site became fun again, there will be less trolling since they would want to work towards "that thing" and would be afraid to get banned,also more money for V!

I have talked to hundreds of people they all say this site is getting super boring, so its the job of the admins to motivate us... I AM pretty sure Nb is a big income to V so he can't afford to loose us!

Now i Ask for you to leave this thread open, we can read the replay section and what the members think!

Wrong on the last part, This is all forum discussion. Real life, Music ect ect. There needs to be something we work for because its boring just typing for nothing. There is so only so much you can debate about until i rather Shit in my hands and clap in my face than talk on Narutobase... I agree on 50% the site sure has become boring even tho it's an all discussion forum, all the other sections aren't being used that much cause they don't get that much attention from people. Since they mostly come here to talk about naruto or bash, only 10% or something post in a different section outside the anime part ( I mean bleach etc etc with anime part)

I disagree, a lot of members don't have any idea what the role-play thing is or about the contests. And the explanations have been placed somewhere far deep away in the base or when a new contest is out people should figure it out themself that it is out. it should be brought more into daylight.

Your point is not really good. I give you a circle.... HEY its your job to explore a circle WITHOUT changing its shape or adding things on. That is what you are saying basically, the admins give us contests, ok... what if i can't draw or be funny or any of those things? Also When i said I give you a circle and you can't change it or add anything on to it that is what this site is really . They give us a contest and few things but we can't really change anything to it. Quick example

Phones built in vibration, Few years ago that was only used JUST taking in phone calls on vibrate... BUT few years later when the owners gave the customers "SOME" (notice i say Some) free will to change things, they created machine gun apps, cool vibrate song and many more. I am not saying give us access to mold NB without any supervision but i am just proving your point wrong " its your job to explore and bring out the fun from it." How can i explore when there is nothing more to be explored? Like i said, let me give you a circle and you go explore it without changing it any way!

1 - Thats a bit illogical. Some people find the site boring and will always do so regardless of the site. You find it boring, I do not. Thats the how that will always turn out.

2 - We are always open for new ideas. Thats why this section exists. But the main thing people forget is that not all new ideas are good and 99.9999% of them can easily be seen to not workout in the long run.

3 - And who would decide what is a good or bad idea? The members? Through a vote? Popularity contest then? Or by the staff? But then it becomes a bias decision right? Good ideas are subjective. We may like it while you, the community may not, and the other way around.

4 through 8 - I don't see the point. You can already suggest things in concrete in open threads in this section which we regularly evaluate and screen through. Why would this whole big thing be needed anyway? Seems a waste of time and resources when you can already suggest all you want and have it screened by us. And again, why? You want to give an idea, give it. No one gets punished for suggesting things as long as no rule is broken. So I fail to see that this grand idea of yours is anything other than what we actually already have. The prize and award wouldn't bring better ideas or magical solutions. Quite the contrary.

Thats my opinion anyways. What do I know right?

Good points, but I think the Staff have done all they can - time for us members to get off our ass and make it happen.

Its not really the staff's fault if it has become boring, we all make the site and are equally responsible

No, I think everyone's ideas matter. Even though I don't enjoy reading what you wrote I MUST give respect to your idea since you are another member of this Site!

We could have a poll to see if Nb Likes this idea.

I understand you may not find it boring but JUST believe me, I KNOW hundreds of Members that find it Boring but do not say anything since they think the mods or the admins will dismiss the thread and close it or they just think they are going to get an infraction! That is why I am trying to cooperate with you guys (while trying to not get this thread closed)

Nearly every thread or an idea has a bad side to it.
IN my opinion while it is important to see the bad side to an idea and balace it out it is also important to see the good side and Concentrate MAINLY on that.
Just a quick example, lets say No mods ever existed and someone said they wanted one, another person could replay "Yh but what if they overuse their power" this is true but bringing Mods in has more of good than bad!


EDIT: I believe right now a big thread should be created, on top of Nb with Purple writing it should say something like "Give your Idea to improve Nb Here" the here leading to the big thread, I understand members can post suggestions any time BUT a lot of the members just keep in the bottom area of the site and don't really look at the suggestion section while still wanting the Site to change, SO I think having this, it will be hard to miss and make the whole Community know that Nb wants new IDEAS!
