Well, I'm here. People keep talking about how One Piece is that good and how its worth watching. I honestly don't have time to watch the whole series from start to its current point or read the manga but honestly I just want to see what all the hype is about. So give me what you think is the best OP episode of all time, like for example the episode were Ace dies or something. Thanks

there is no, you can't say what's the best ep of naruto, if you just watch the ep, it wouldn't be fun and cool, you'll understand nothing, but I don't recommend you to watch it if you don't have enough time, if you have enough time, then why not

That episode where Ace dies won't be worth jack shit to you because,

A) You miss the emotional connection to the characters
B) You miss the context of the situation.

So I suggest you either give One Piece a try from the start, or don't watch it at all.
I don't really like OP (never got into it), But i did watch the rescuing of ace, the War was Epic i really enjoyed it.

even if posted a good chapter, you would'nt understand it at all, since you have to understand it from the beginning.
I watched OP from the beginning a long time ago, I remember how they met Zoro where he was about to be executed, and how luffy saved him. I remember how they met chopper where he lived in like a snow land with some old lady and luffy proposed to make him a part of his crew and Chopper and luffy escaped and what not. And then Sanji was the cook and what not and some red haired guy was luffies dad. And then the guy with the long nose... meh its so much

I started some days ago with ep 82 or something (don't know where this is in the Manga)
>>> it's the time they get to know Chopper and take him into the pirate crew.

And YEAH!!!! It finally caught me!!!!!
:D
I am happy. :)

Now the plot is straight forwarding into the next ARC.
But in between they gave some explanation about the pirates' intentions and backflashs.
That is why for me it was easy to get into the story with these eps (from 80, 82)
So, now I'm off. Need to watch more. xd

Oh, I saw these eps in a dubbed version like 5 years ago. Actually until that Smoke Guy showed up. So you must have the same basis knowledge as I do. ;)

The episode where the SHs declare war to the World Government by burning their flag because they could give a sh*t about being persecuted by the whole world :p Also in that same episode is where Robin yells that she wants to live. Very very epic.

If you never got into it then don't jump on the bandwagon. The fan base is terrible enough as it is already, with too many power level threads opening, who's the strongest and whatnot ... it's horrible.

And like one person up there who only jumped in at the war without any context whatsoever ... if you don't watch it from the start you won't know anything. It's up to you though, it's your decision, but I strongly recommend watching from the start.
