Makise: Jeez Minato, we've been walking around for about 2 hours now and you still haven't gotten us home.

Minato: You told me that we should turn at the piss-colored rock! It's not my fault!

Makise: We already went the other way, we have been walking around in circles for a while... I think my way got us closer back anyways.

Minato: I doubt it... Stop.

Minato goes to the ground, crouching over, and places his index finger to the ground feeling the vibrations in the ground. He feels the presence of two oncoming opponents. As he feels them, he changes his body posture so he is more balanced and ready to move. Makise gets ready in the same manner as she sees Minato get ready for their opponents.

Minato: Aren't you a sensor?

Makise: Uhm... Yes...

Makise's face blushing. She then re-establishes herself.

Minato: You know what to do, use the kunai I gave you.

Makise: I know, I know. You don't have to remind me every time we fight some weird guys in the middle of the forest.

While Makise is getting ready, Minato quickly moves to her other side and while doing so slaps her right butt cheek. Makise losing her posture and having to re-establish herself once more.

Makise: I hate when you do that...

Minato: I have to, you know my FTG seal works best if it's on your ass.

Makise: I wonder about that...

Makise and Minato get ready once more and face the oncoming targets.

Makise starts by placing her hand on the ground, lowering the ground ten meters beneath both opponents. Thanks to the pull in which the jutsu is created, both enemies lose their balance and start falling with their backs facing the ground.
The dimensions of the hole are around 5X5X10 meters.

As he runs, he unleashes a torrent of FTG Kunais in all ranges. Minato reaches position before the kunai falling in long range make contact with the ground, which happens a second after.

There are times when one gets thrown into a rather unexpected situation, and Shikamaru found himself in that very place. It was rare that he would even venture pass Konoha itself, but today, he was in a speculative mood. His mind would wander, his hands would tremble - his footsteps traced the very journey he made to Asuma's death.
And yet, it wasn't regret. Nor sorrow.
It was a conviction, a promise, some kind of hope that lay unseen in the depths of his soul. There had been many sacrifices, yet, there was much more to come.
So when he found himself standing in the middle of a battle scene, he was rather unprepared - upon a quick glance, it became clear that it was an unfair situation.
Why the battle was fought, or even how it started, he knew not, but the Nara moved to join the impassive loner.

No greetings nor words were uttered that day - it simply began with a slight, calculated movement of the yellow-haired opponent.
The ground shook both Shikamaru and Masakaki, only to open a split second later, causing both of them to fall to the ground.
However, even after meeting for less than a minute, the two found themselves coordinating almost perfectly - with a slight nod from Masakaki, Shikamaru immediately formed several familiar handsigns, ones that saved him from death many times.

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.

A gush of wind tore out of his mouth, aimed downwards in a diagonal manner with a certain elevation at the side of the hole - enough so that the two, who were standing next to one another, were propelled at equal speed towards even ground once more. As this is happening, Masakaki whipped through several different handsigns, creating four clones that appear next to them. The two clones grabbed both Shikamaru and Masakaki by the waist, throwing them with an extra burst of strength so that they landed safely on the other side of the hole, creating a long distance between them and their enemy.
(I don't know if this is a necessary move, and I can't calculate wind miles in regards to distances fallen - but if I was falling about 9.8 m/per second due to the acceleration of gravity, and I had barely enough time to react to a 10 meter hole, I would take pre-cautions, as a wind jutsu like that may not have enough time or strength to propel me at an appropriate angle as I would have fallen halfway in the hole already.) The two clones, of course, fell to their death after this action. Furthermore, if any of the blades reached either Shikamaru or Masakaki, the excess two clones acted as bodyguards to them.
Almost immediately feeling the soft grass beneath his feet, Shikamaru noticed the yellow-haired opponent run swiftly towards them from his left, flinging kunais at an incredible speed. (As you ran from your right.) His eyes narrowed at the curious tags on the kunai - they did not look like paper bombs to him, and his only instinct was that he could not let any of them near he or his teammate. His hands flashed through four quick seals.

(Fūton: Shinkūha) – Wind Release: Vacuum Wave

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Rat → Snake → Horse → Dog, the user takes a deep breath and spins his body around while exhaling, compressing the released air into a solitary blade of wind that covers a substantial area around the user, due to their circular motion. The resulting sharpened blast is large enough to slice through multiple targets located a significant distance from the user, causing grievous injuries to those hit.

Following that, he released several bursts of wind, strong enough so that the kunais in the area around them fell harmless to the ground - and also, because they were in long range, the time it took for the kunais to reach them was extended. This was done in a circular motion, clearing out any dangerous weapons in the vicinity (though I can say that some of your kunais did land close to us, but was blown away harmless) and in mid range. Meanwhile, Maskaki draws out a smoke bomb, tossing it so that he and Shikamaru became hidden within smoke. This is done behind the wind move, so that the wind does not affect the smoke in any manner.
