Looks: Jaqen, most commonly know as "Valar" is a tall and muscular man. His heavily muscular body suffered many injuries due to his confrontation with an unknown man. His chest sports scars, two of which are stitched, and his black Kumo stamp; the lower part of it is wrapped up in bandages, which also cross over his left shoulder, and his right forearm is bandaged too. He has shoulder length red hair, with a section of it being white, dark blue eyes and his attire consists of black and brown colors, a robe of fur, boots, a sword on his back, a jacket, etc. However, after turning 20, his attire changed from completely black, to a more redish tone dressing manner (see images).
When he was younger (18) his attire was simple and practical, consisting of a dark, tattered cape over his bare chest, with a high collar and armored plates on the shoulders, held closed by a belt and usually covering his whole figure, and loose dark pants, complete with an armored waist-guard with plates similar to the ones on his shoulders, tucked inside simple boots.

Personality: Valar is a laid-back, easygoing person. He's also warmhearted and kind, and has great interest and faith in the new generation of shinobi. He is well respected by the whole village, with the citizens going as far as to literally rearrange the town's layout whenever he's around, creating a large, empty road for him to walk to the Raikage's office, to prevent accidental damage. He also appears to be a bit absent-minded and oblivious, and apparently doesn't pay attention to what he's doing, such as not recognizing the village or his teammates. He also has a tendency to break through walls with his elemental abilities in order to pass, rather than simply using the door, something which prompted the inhabitants of Kumo to create the town's rearranging process.
When he enters a fight, he often points out that he is bad at and dislikes holding back. When fighting, Valar would often employ exclusively hand-to-hand combat in order to not harm people around with his Ninjutsu. His fighting spirit is similar to an old yet young in age friend, as he himself admitted, in that he respects his opponents, neither taking them too lightly nor overdoing. Background Info
History: Valar currently lives in Kumogakure, in the Land of Lightning. But before this, let's look back at his glorious adventures. Valar was born in Sunagakure with a KG that many feared - Magnetism. Due to this,
Gildarts fled Sunagakure at the age of 13 and ended up in Kumogakure after traveling with an old man. In Kumogakure he lived for 5 years - practicing and learning more and more about ninjutsu. When he was 27 he met and fell in love with a woman named Cornelia. Their relationship blossomed, However, Valar was so fixated with his work that Cornelia left him and traveled to an unknown place. Valar decided to leave Kumogakure for a certain amount of time, and heard word that strong shinobi had gathered in the Land of Fire and resided all within a strong family like village - Konohagakure. However, before joining Konoha he traveled around the world meeting different people, looking for mentors he indeed found them, one in particular he couldn't forget, was Gobi, he trained Valar in what is his favorite element, Earth, and basic ninjutsu control.
When in Konoha finally, he met Teno a young and very bragging man as well as Broly a killing machine whom only stopped when he was bored. They took mission after mission together, eventually making more friends within Konoha, soon meeting Light, they met after Light slapped Broly for eating his cookie - That's my cookie your drunk! Light exclaimed, both got into a brawl and ended up getting scolded by Scary Yamato (the hokage of that time). A few years passed and a sudden war arose between Kumo & Konoha, Kumo was Valar previous home, but regardless of this, his friends where on the opposite side, so for them he fought with Konoha - In the front lines he observed 2 genius seniors at work, Typhon & Lord of Kaos, they strong fought against the Turtle Island, meanwhile in the actual war Konoha managed to destroy half of Kumogakure's land, as a result Konoha won the war. Time later a weird person named ReXii joined Konoha, annoyed by him as well as other reasons, a dispute arose and many ended up in fighting among themselves - due to this, several members left, among them were Lord of K, Valar, Teno, Broly, Light, Typhon, and many more.
Upon leaving, Broly and Teno joined the village hidden in the land of Lightning, non other than Kumo. Meanwhile Valar took a step into the land of rain, looking for more power he met a man named Coyote, he explained to
Valar how the rain element worked and how to obtain it. Coyote proposed a test to Hyodo and he accepted, not before long Valar passed and seeks training. However, the only person who could teach him was the very remembered Typhon - whom now lived in Sunagakure; Valar felt fear, returning to his born nation, he knew that if he set foot inside the village, he would come out alive. Nevertheless his hunger for power drove him into Suna, he began searching for Typhon but 2 days had passed and nothing, he slept in the ground of suna, had drank nor eaten anything. A man approached him and extended his hand with a bottle of water, Valar looked up, and it was the Kazekage Oh sh- before he could complete the sentence the Kazekage had his hand around Valar neck, lifting him into the air as Valar struggled to let loose. The kage easily recognized Hyodo and was prepared to make him pay for betraying Suna. However a man suddenly pressed his hand against the Kazekage's own hand, and whispered, Let him go, i will vouch for him. It was Typhon, a person who didn't fight unless it was the last option. Typhon was of high regard, even by the Kazekage himself, as such he gave Typhon time with Valar, but promised to kill him as soon as his deeds where complete. Why did you help me?, Valar questioned Typhon, Typhon answered in a calm tone, you, i remember you from Konoha - Comrades are comrades, regardless of their current status. They talked for a few hours and Typhon agreed to teach Valar the arts of Rain, they spent months training, and after being done, that same day - the Kazekage arrived at the scene looking for Valar, only he was long gone. He knew Typhon allowed him to escape, but without proof, accusing someone like Typhon would mean trouble.
After learning Rain, Valar traveled back to where his real life began, Kumo. There he re joined his close friends and also made tons of new ones, including Broly and Teno. He was sent to war, yet again he was on a mercy-less blood filled battlefield. He remembered the deaths he had seen before in the war against his current village, the new Raikage had no trouble taking him in of course, Kirabi is his name, they engaged against Amegakure, sigh, countless wars, everywhere around the world, with no actual purpose than hatred amongst the 5 great nations, despite being sick of it, Hyodo kept fighting, killing a man named Hazure at the time, it wasn't enjoyable, but with time, Valar grew accustomed to battle, and now enjoys it to some degree. Valar now looks for a mentor to teach him how to use and control his long needed KG.

OtherEarth & Wind Release: Valar developed great skill with the earth element, being his elemental affinity and favorite element. He developed the skill to perform even the most complex earth jutsu with a single hand seal. Due to extensive training with it and numerous fights he has survived thanks to his earth affinity. Valar can also perform hand seals for wind jutsu much quicker than normal shinobi as well as produce them at a more faster rate (5 in the speed of 1).
Weaponary: Valar carries a variety of weapons. In his ninja pouch, he carries shuriken, kunai, explosive tags, flash and smoke bombs, and ninja wire. Lastly, he has 1 long chain on each arm, that originate from a steel wrist band on each wrist; both edges of said chains have sharp hooks, Valar is very proficient with these as he can maneuver then in amazing ways. The chains are long enough to reach mid range. And do not bother or get in the way of Valar when he fights. He also has 2 small swords/daggers like weapons on his back in a cross form. Valar always has gloves on.
Master Hand to Hand Combatant & Reflexes: Aside from his powerful elemental attacks, Valar has shown a penchant for melee fighting, demonstrating great mastery in unarmed combat. His fighting style is an offensive, brutal and straightforward one, relying on a great variety of punches, kicks and even headbutts, which are shown to be both strong and fast; such moves can also be combined with techniques from his water speciality with extreme fluency to great effect, as such his speed is also very skilled.
Valar has displayed extremely sharp reflexes and a high degree of speed and agility: he was shown capable of evading a combo attack from two opponents at once, in which the former's fire acted as a medium to greatly enhance the latter's attack speed, without much effort, and could also keep up with the two of them in a fast exchange of blows, managing to parry their melee assaults and at the same time to counter-attack with his earth techniques and skilled speed.
