I remember reading a theory that Yahiko/Pain was Naruto's older brother. It was mainly based off the resemblance of the two characters, and I could sort of see it, but I didn't fall for it. That would have needed a TON of explaining. lol

Actually that was one of the manga pages most referenced in that theory. The point being that jiraiya obviously wouldn't have known as both he and tsunade parted ways long ago.

My favorite is that Minato is Tsunade's and Jiraiya's son. Still unproven, but highly unlikely.

That's exactly why i didn't believe tobi was obito. I figured kishi was a good enough writer to lead us in the wrong direction and blow us all away with a crazy reveal. IMO he absolutely ruined tobi's reveal 100 different ways.

Well it was obvious at first, then Kishi showed the room with alot of Sharingan after the danzo vs sasuke fight, then the though of someone who isn't a Uchiha came to mind and that spiraled out of control since the door was wide open to who he could be.

Well I feel like Obito was more relevant than someone like Shisui or Kagami so in that regard I'm glad it was him. But at the same time, I do understand what you mean. Obito as a villain feels really forced plus the story and circumstances of his survival are borderline absurd
