I remember when people made theories of 2 masked men, or Izuna Uchiha being Tobi(I personally believed this one)
And even Naruto being Pain

Ah yea, I forgot bout Izuna. Dont see why that one was so popular. It should've been common knowledge the age was way off

nah it was just funny, i was hoping that Kshi would humor us by making Him a power house in Road to Ninja.

Well I feel like Obito was more relevant than someone like Shisui or Kagami so in that regard I'm glad it was him. But at the same time, I do understand what you mean. Obito as a villain feels really forced plus the story and circumstances of his survival are borderline absurd

Pretty much. I was more referencing the fact that the second we saw his teleportation most readers saw the similarity to kakashi's kamui. Then you notice that he only has one hole in his mask on the same side as obito's only eye. Then you see that apparently half of his body is made of a material that melts off of him like zetsu. Then you notice that you never see his face so it's obviously someone we've seen before, (and you know it's not actually madara because then why wear a mask?)
And even after alllllll of that, we basically get 4 chapters of kishi screaming that tobi is obito until finally the chapter titled "Obito Uchiha" is released which gives 17 pages of useless flashback before a reveal you saw coming from a mile away just from the title alone.

I do wish I had more of an "OMG!!" moment for the reveal but it was just too obvious to fully enjoy the surprise.
