This technique is used as a means to distract opponents to either create an escape or follow through with a surprise attack.

First perform the needed handseals, then quickly slam your hand unto the ground. Then release your chakra and break up the ground around your opponent. This does minimal damage more for distraction.

I relax my body and concentrate my body and mind on my chakra, gathering it in my body. After the chakra is flowing through my body i begin to perform the Snake hand seal then i slam my hand on the ground. While slamming my hand on the ground, i release my chakra into the ground through my palm and begin to shatter the earth around the opponent, turning it into all kinds of pieces, big and small, creating a nuisance to my opponent, distracting the opponent while i can setup a better attack.

A good distraction jutsu, as mentioned, and can create more time for you to perform a longer and stronger jutsu without the opponent getting in your way.

A lightning technique would be able to shatter the earth controlled by the opponent, making him unable to control it anymore, and maybe even water can be useful by flooding the area around you, making it hard for the opponent to control the earth mixed with water.

I see your clone rushing at me with hi kunai aimed at me and i quickly begin to gather my earth chakra. As i quickly gather my earth chakra, i quickly perform the Snake seal of confrontation and start molding my earth chakra around my left arm. I begin to concentrate on my left knuckle and hand. molding my chakra, i begin encasing my arm with earth, quickly i build up a good amount of earth around my hand and see your clone rushing at me, as soon as hes about to attack me, i quickly hit him with a left hook into his jaw, with my hand encased in earth, and knock him out *poof*

A great jutsu for fast encounters, or for weak opponents if you dont feel like going all out, just knock em out

You could defend against this jutsu with a similar jutsu which will counter it, or make a defensive barrier in front of you. Also water will mix with the earth and it wont be hard anymore.

I begin by relaxing my body and concentrating on my chakra. I gather in my earth chakra and make it flow freely through my body, filling my body with it. I then perform the required hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird. I then begin to mold my chakra and send it through my feet and into the ground, and start to mold a tunnel. Slowly, the tunnel becomes bigger and bigger to the point where i can freely walk through it and transport others with me without detection.

A good jutsu that allows you to remain hidden from enemy and transport yourself and others without the enemy knowing.


Defending against this jutsu, you would need to use lightning, since lightning can shatter earth.

Standing in front of your clone, i begin to quickly perform the Tiger hand seal. Concentrating on my chakra, i release it into the ground under my feet and spread it throughout the place making sure i infuse all the ground i can with my chakra. I then begin to manipulate the earth and start to create mud out of it, creating a mud river. After, i quickly perform the snake hand seal and continue concentrating on the earth chakra and begin to mold it. I slowly begin to mold and create needles coming out of the mud river, sharp and very lethal, aiming them at your clone *poof*

A good and efficient jutsu, because you can mold numerous needles and in multiple places, attacking your opponent.

Defending against this jutsu would require lightning, it would shatter those needles.

Standing on the ground, i relax my body and empty my mind. I take a deep breath, close my eyes, and concentrate on my chakra. Breathing slowly, in and out, i am very relaxed and start gathering in my earth chakra. After i have gathered enough earth chakra to make a clone out of, i begin concentrating on the chakra, making sure its flowing freely through my body, and through every body part efficiently. I then release all of my chakra into the ground beneath my feet. Concentrating on the chakra infused ground around me i begin to think about my body and every aspect of it, visualizing them; head, torso, arms, legs. And then i slowly start to mold a clone out of stone. First i visualize the head when its coming out of the ground, making sure its identical to mine, then i focus on the torso and arms, making sure they are also identical, last but not least, i focus on the legs and make sure they are also the exact same as mine. The clone emerges, looking like an identical mirror image of me.

Clones can be very useful for distraction and helping the user out with certain jutsu and performing extra tasks for the user.

Defending against a clone would require a jutsu that could either harm him, slow him down, or kill him O_O

Seeing your kunais flying towards me, I quickly relax my body and take a deep breath. Closing my eyes, i begin to concentrate on my chakra and gather it inside my body. After i have gathered a decent amount of earth chakra, i let it flow freely through my body. Then, i quickly release it into the ground underneath me. Then i begin to mold the chakra infused earth around me. I begin to mold a circular wall around me, making it slowly rise into the air, pulling the earth underneath it until i rises over my head and connects with the other earth, forming a dome around me just in time before you kunais reach me, hitting the dome and doing no damage to me.

This jutsu it obviously a great defensive jutsu, doesn't really do you any good on offensive, but it sure is a solid jutsu for defense, that will prevent the user from being hit by many things, although i don't know how strong it is and it obviously wont withstand every attack.

Although this seems like a great defensive jutsu, it is dont get me wrong, i think a rank A or even a rank B or lower lightning jutsu can crush it. Its made from solid earth and lightning is capable of piercing that.

Emptying my mind from everything irrelevant and relaxing my body, i take a deep breath and begin concentrating and gathering earth chakra into my stomach. After i have gathered a large amount sufficient for this jutsu, i then bring that chakra into my mouth. Then focusing hard on the chakra, i begin to mold it around me and the mud river i am standing in. The mud river allows me a wide range for this jutsu and i then mold the mud into balls and fire the balls at your clone from multiple positions.

This is a great long range jutsu because the it allows you to have multiple positions and a wide range of space between you and you opponent, you can hit him from multiple positions at the same time, catching your opponent off guard even.

If you would want to defend yourself against this jutsu, you would have to either create a defensive barrier around yourself, or use a lightning technique quickly and precisely at the flying mud balls.

Then concentrating on the chakra infused earth around me, i begin to mold it into a platform like object that allows me to stand on it and ride it around your clone. Then i see you clone and i start to mold the ground under the clones feet and i wrap his feet in earth, not allowing him to move his legs.

This jutsu allows the user to freely move around the earth terrain, molding his own way and direction. If used in a smart manner, this jutsu can give you many advantages over your opponent.

Defending against this jutsu would require a lightning technique that would either disrupt the opponents earth moving platform or shatter the earth wrapped around your legs.

I see your clone running towards me and begin running from him, at the same time, i take out a few scrolls and begin to concentrate my chakra inside me. After doing that, i quickly release the earth chakra from my body into the scrolls in molding in my hands through my palms. I then quickly drop the scrolls behind me, where i know your clone will run past and step on them. I lay a few out and keep running. As i turn around, i see your clone step on them and mud wolves appear and attack your clone *poof*

This is a perfect trap jutsu obviously. Opponent wont know the traps are set if you do it in a secretive and efficient way. The user will then be attacked, giving you time to escape or plan a jutsu against him.

This jutsu would be a bit difficult to defend against because it would require the user to think fast. Because hes not prepared for the attack obviously, so he would have to use a quick lightning technique that would prevent him from being hurt and at the same time strong enough to stop the wolves.

Relaxing my body, i close my eyes and empty everything in my mind and focus all my concentration on the earth chakra. I begin to gather it and let it flow freely through out my entire body. After, I release the earth chakra into the ground beneath me through my feet and start to mold the earth. I begin my molding the earth and making it rise up and wrap around me, then i concentrate on that earth an begin to condense it, making it harder and thinner, like armor, as i encase my entire body with it. You run at me and hit my with taijutsu and nothing happens to me, as my armor is able to protect me.

This is a great jutsu and can be used in many different ways. Although it hinders the users speed, it allows you to be in a great defensive state and protect you from many different jutsus, besides lightning.

defending against this jutsu would be easy since the users speed is reduced because of the armor, you can set a trap or something of that sort, or you can simply use a lightning technique which will easily shatter that armor.
