What do you think the future holds for Germa?I created this thread because I think there's a lot to be discussed about Germa. Their future can go in several different directions, but with Oda, you never quite know which direction he wants to take. He always seems to go a different path than expected, and rarely does it not pay off.
So, where do you think Germa could go from here? Of course, it depends on what they do before the end of this arc.
Currently, the common thoughts are as such:
1) They help the Straw Hats
Pretty straight forward. Last time we saw them, Judge wasn't actually around, which could mean he was simply off panel, but it could also mean that his children have decided to incapacitate him for the time being. But given that he has control over them, the latter sounds unlikely. And regardless, I could see them deciding to help the SHs with or without Judge.
2) They wish for revenge against Big Mom, and seek to destroy the cake
Now, personally, I find this possibility much more interesting. For one, it would lead to a battle between Sanji and his family, one I think a lot of us - me included - have wanted to see. It would also lead to an interesting three-way dynamic at the end of this battle. But that's also important to think of. The arc is coming to a close, and adding something like that at the end of it might just feel like a fourth act in a three act structure. Kind of like Luffy vs Doffy.
3) Reiju takes over
This is the one I'm interested in seeing the most, because I think it'd be interesting to see another female character in power in OP, and I believe she has a better mind than Judge. Not as far scientific intelligence goes, because Judge is a genius in that department. But I think she's a better leader. She wouldn't have clones sacrifice themselves for her. But with the brothers still around, this one seems unlikely.
4) Germa seeks to ally with someone else
This could honestly apply to many. It'd be interesting to see if Germa, rather Judge, decides to try to make an alliance with another Yonko crew. Perhaps Kaido, because he has interest in artificial DFs, and could believe Judge might be able to replicate them. But Kaido's arc is so near, so it seems unlikely. Shanks would never bother. So that leaves the BM Pirates, when it comes to the Yonko. It seems like a mutually beneficial alliance. But as I said, it can apply to many, and that also includes the SHs, as atonement, and to ride their momentum.
5) They sacrifice themselves in Totland
This isn't something I came up with, I only saw it in the discussion thread, but I don't remember who said it. This is also a very big possibility, but it's a very sudden change of heart for someone like Judge. For his children, it seems it doesn't matter, because of their lack of emotions. But it would be pretty badass to see, imo.
