Genuinely what's wrong with minato?

As someone who used to LOVE Minato (read my name), its because he did not live up to his hype. The badass and untouchable Yellow flash ended up being high kage tier instead of demigod tier like he was hyped to be. His bread and butter is rasengan and FTG which is efficient but not diverse, pretty boring arsenal. I still enjoy his character and overall still think he has one of the best character designs in the series, but he is admittedly pretty bland.

People dislike Minato? I initially thought he was cool, and grew to love him. The way he was depicted during the nine tales' incident was badass. His intelligence and style when he battles is what I like the most about him. He was able to analyze and perfectly counter Obito's intangibility from only a few exchanges. The way he fights with FTG is pure eye candy to me. He remains completely calm and focused during any fight, like when he casually tossed his FTG kunai to avoid A's lightning straight, and proceeded to take complete control of the battlefield without any tension visible on his face whatsoever.
His personality is what i imagine most people have an issue with. His character doesn't have as much depth compared to other popular characters. He is essentially just depicted as an exceptionally skilled, kind, and dependable Dad who never drops his composure. He has a quirk of giving horrible names to new jutsu, but while it is funny it doesn't really expand on him as a person very much. Despite his lack of depth, I still love him for his cool factor though lol.

True . Minato had the hype and the walk . He clearly did every thing he was hyped into . Figured out obito's secret in seconds , Mastered senjutsu , had one of the best chakra control , invented rasengan (the ultimate form of shape manipulation) , took down some Elite jounin at an extremely young age , got the highest marks in the academy , had the reaction speed of light , took down a battalion of 1000 ninja etc etc .... people started disliking him when the animation got paper-thin and lost the supple-like quality to it . Before the war arc , I think he was one of the most well-liked, high-pedestal kept character s ever in naruto seriesAbsolutely nothing. For some reason people like to put him against Fugaku.:lol Minato was badass till the end.

Why?
Because they hate him because he is the only ninja that can hit your fav hard and they cant just accept it.
Manga says he is the fastest, haters say he slower than Iruka or even than Lee Chunnin Exams. ¿Do you see the hate?
Manga says that he invented rasengan, yet haters says it was Ashura?
Manga says that he one the third war, yet say that Fugaku was better in the war?
Manga says that no other genius has been born since him, Itachi got close yet they say that Sasuke is smarter? Kakashi smarter?
Manga shows him using TBB yet haters say it was Kurama?
Databooks says how he used Kurama's power yet haters say it was thanks to Naruto?
He is hated mostly because he is so powerful that haters need to make him look stupid for their fav look great. Then comes someone that believes it at the end and it is when the ones like me come to defend him but the best argument they can use against us is "You are a stupid fanboy"
And thinking that with that it will make everyone think we are stupid and what they say is true.

His fans hype him to be this untouchable guy while riding on this feat just because he broke the arm of a 14 year old. Which would seem a lot more impressive if it weren't for the fact that two jonins didn't already did that to the same person but only stronger and 30 years old. Ironically enough they forget the time Killerbee wrekt him too.
But only with that one feat, when he came back as edo tensei he just gets owned left and right. Getting dealt with by the same guy who he beats as a kid, gets his payback by one shotting him by taking his arm. Madara kicked his ass, literally. And was the only hokage out of the four to get both his arms taken from him. Hashirama and Hiruzen being the slowest came out intacted.
