My move can't be countered.

As you run towards me with your kunai in your hand I keep my eyes on you and continue to watch you as you make that single hand seal. Suddenly I see feathers falling down from the sky and my eyes feel really heavy and I can't keep them open. I quickly deduce that this must be a genjutsu since no normal jutsu should be able to do that. I remember that you had a kunai in your hand so decide that you must be coming close for the kill so I concentrate a large amount of Raiton chakra into my body and release it around me so that I am woken from the genjutsu and the pillars are coincidentally interrupted.

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current
Rank: A
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electrically charged chakra from their body. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it only paralyzes. The lightning can be channelled through metal objects, as well as spread out into the air or ground.

I wonder why you haven't attacked since you had a kunai in your hand so I figure that an attack is coming from above or below me so I immediately condense my Doton chakra and form an armour of rocks around me just as the pillars erupt leaving me burnt slightly.

Good. Now, re-explain to me what genjutsu is, and then include anything you have learned throughout the training as well.

What I knew before:
Genjutsu is the art of manipulating your opponents 5 senses by disturbing their chakra systems without them knowing. This can greatly affect how the opponent acts. Genjutsu is mainly used to distract since genjutsu doesn't actually happen in reality but when the opponent is confused and disorientated by a genjutsu is the best opportunity to follow-up with a counter. Genjutsu can also be used in many different ways by obstructing the opponents vision or conjuring things out of thin air.
There are 4 ways to release yourself from a genjutsu:
Kai-the technique which restarts your own chakra flow to disrupt the genjutsu and stop it.
Pain-Inflicting pain on yourself will also get you out of genjutsu
Awareness- You can't do anything about the genjutsu if you don't know you're in one. It would be easy to notice if it was something large or appearing out of thin air but more subtle genjutsu are harder to notice.
Full Body surges- Elemental and chakra that affect your whole body and break you out of genjutsu; nagashi

New stuff I learnt with you:
An elemental chakra surge such as nagashi can break you out of a genjutsu one rank lower but for a normal chakra surge its two ranks lower. To use Kai you need to first be aware that you are actually in a genjutsu so you need to your skills of reasoning and logic to explain why the genjutsu is out of the ordinary. Kai can negate different ranks of genjutsu depending on your own rank so a Sannin can only use Kai against a certain rank of genjutsu. Also you need to use an hand seal to use Kai and if you are paralyzed then you won't be able to do this meaning you will have to use other methods. Using pain to break yourself out of a genjutsu should be used for the lower rank genjutsus and you should never bite your lip since its ineffective and harms more than helps. Most genjutsu affect you some way in reality either by paralyzing you, making you fall asleep or making one of your senses useless.

Awesome. And I forgot about the one AACT genjutsu, so we'll do that now as well.

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

So this is a layered genjutsu that is an advanced version of the D-rank technique we learned earlier. Basically, when your opponent releases the genjutsu, the second layered genjutsu is still in effect. So this can be useful to make your opponent waste move slots on defending from this one technique, or set up an attack later the battle.

Seems complicated but I will try. ;)

I perform a small sequence of three hand seals and concentrate my chakra into your clone and send it into the clones system and manipulate their sense of sight, but this time I focus my chakra to manipulate their senses again layering the genjutsu and it will only start once the first genjutsu has been dispelled. The clone suddenly starts to sees their surroundings being changed to a city, with houses everywhere. The clone obviously works out that this is a genjutsu because of the sudden change in scenery and once it decides to use Kai the illusion suddenly breaks but instead of going back to the forest which we were in before, he sees that we are now in a large cave with no opening.

1) This would be used to confuse the opponent and like you said make them waste two of their 3 moves. The jutsus length easily compensates for having to do three hand seals and I would use Wind Release: Pressure Damage just in case they used nagashi to break it they wouldn't have enough time to escape the wind.

All good. Any questions you have over this technique?

Just one.

Will an elemental chakra surge take care of both genjutsus at once ?
Nagashi, earth weight etc.
Like the technique, I believe a normal release only will dispel one of the illusions. I have posed a question to the mods about your question, so if it changes, I'll let you know. If you have no more questions, then you have completed genjutsu.
