Ok tell me everything you know about Genjutsu.
Who are some famous users, what can it do exactly.
Are there any KG users with access to specific illusions and what are they? So on so forth.
"Hello, sensei. Glad to see you arrived in a flash!"
Genjutsu, meaning, "Illusionary techniques", is the third main pillar of shinobi arts, alongside Taijutsu and Ninjutsu. The distinction for Genjutsu is that it focuses on disrupting the inner chakra network of the opponent, particularly in the brain area. As a result, this leaves the victim vulnerable to the manipulation of their senses, whether it be one at a time or two or more simultaneously. This allows the user of the Genjutsu to "warp" the reality of their target, inducing illusions of various types and effects. These illusions, to a spectator, are not real... but to the victim, they are manifested as real, possibly traumatic or painful experiences. It results in possible psychological damage... and if the illusion is powerful enough, physical damage and even death. Genjutsu also has other, less lethal uses as well, such as hypnosis.
Genjutsu can be cast in many ways... one of the most infamous ways is through Dojutsu, particularly the Sharingan. Itachi Uchiha's Tsukuyomi is regarded as one of the most powerful illusions in existence, being able to dilate the target's sense of time... making minutes seem like days. Another notable user is the Second Mizukage and his Giant Clam Summoning. Combined with his Hozuki techniques, he becomes a massive "troll" on the battlefield. Genjutsu, as per his intuition, falls under the broad category of Yin Release, the ability to make illusions reality.
Countering a Genjutsu may be done in many ways, by either doing a "Genjutsu Kai", which expels the disruption of the foreign disruption of internal chakra through sheer personal willpower or an external source. There are many miscellaneous techniques as well, such as not making eye contact with a Dojutsu user (as Gai did against Itachi).
"That's probably the extent of my knowledge, sensei. Do you have any further insights?"

Yes indeed, but i shall save it for the end. For now techniques.
Ok now my training is a little different than some.

( Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu ) - Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10 (+5 if you use it double)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion over an area that allows him to manipulate the way an area looks to fool an opponent. He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature.
Describe how to do it: By focusing their chakra, the user is able to channel this technique in a designated area. This creates an "invisible border" of sorts, wherein those who walk into it will be subject to the illusion. This illusion changes the victim's perception of the reality of their surroundings. Things may be there that really aren't, and people may look different than they actually do. A simple, straightforward and basic Genjutsu. How many hand seals does it have: None to speak of, but I think there's one that the user does to dispel it. Advantages: changing the perception of surroundings can deceive an unaware foe, most likely to their doom. Disadvantages: A Dojutsu user or sensor can easily see through this genjutsu (being a D-rank), and dispel it accordingly. Not necessarily the best technique in battle unless a lot of planning is done beforehand. Combos and possible uses: In my application, I'd first perform an Earth Jutsu that creates a big sinkhole in the ground. Then, I'd cast this genjutsu over that area, making it seem like the ground is intact. If the opponent runs into this area, even if they see through the illusion, it would probably be too late as they fall to their doom. How to defend against it: Be a Dojutsu user, or simply, not fall into the radius of effect. A simple "Kai" will suffice to dispel it as well. Image of the technique:
You must be registered for see images
"Sensei, what does the last part mean? '+5 if you use it double'?"
Using this you should use the genjutsu first then the sinkhole, otherswise they will catch a glimpse and feel it before the genjutsu affects them.
As for the using double part it refers to dual layering the illusion.
For example you would make the ground appear flat still maybe, then double layer it to cause a lightning bolt or fireball to come from above to distract them.
( Genjutsu: Kahen Tonsou ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Escape
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, appearing to dissolve into a shower of cherry blossom petals. These petals surround the opponent, blocking his vision. This allows the user to mask his movement effectively.
Describe how to do it: First, I'd have to make the hand seal sequence, molding my chakra. This then allows me to manipulate and disrupt my opponent's own chakra network by channeling my own throughout the area, placing them under the illusion. I then further manipulate the user's sense of sight, making it seem like I dissolve into a a shower of cherry blossom petals. While this is happening, they are probably open to an attack, distracted. This window of opportunity is key.
How many hand seals does it have: 5.
"What's the hand seal sequence? or is that irrelevant; can I just say, 'I use five hand seals in succession, activating the technique' or something like that?"
Advantages: Ummm... it looks pretty? :3
Ok, It's pretty straightforward as a technique, the vulnerability caused by that opening, no matter how small, can be critical to gaining the upper hand over my opponent. I could follow up with a long range jutsu or a higher ranked ninjutsu to do some serious damage.
Disadvantages: It's D-rank, not super powerful. Seen through easily. If we're in a battle area where cherry blossoms are not part of the surroundings, the enemy will know it's obviously some kind of genjutsu and proceed to dispel without much difficulty. Range isn't exceptional either.
Combos and possible uses: I'd first use this technique on my opponent, causing them to fall under the illusion and be distracted by the petals. While that is happening, my movements would be concealed, and I'd go around the opponent and attack them from behind, maybe with a silent killing technique or equivalent. To further confuse my opponent, maybe I could use the Hidden Mist jutsu, so even if they do dispel the genjutsu, they were too focused on the genjutsu that they'd then have to deal with the mist... which would be too late by then, as I stalk in for the kill!
How to defend against it: Stay out of range; be a sensor or Dojutsu user, self-inflicted pain, "Kai"... most of the standard counters. A D-rank shouldn't be too hard to counter.
You can check naruto wiki for the specific handseals usually by searching the technique.
Other than that, all is good.
But the yellow glow is giving me cancer stop it. xd
( Genjutsu: Kasumi ) - Illusion Technique: Servant
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: The user does one handseal and throws a paper bomb at the enemy. The enemy, trapped in a genjutsu will see a clone of the user advancing upon him. As the paper bomb reaches the enemy, it explodes
>>Doesn't like yellow glow
>>Uses yellow text while RPing as Minato
>>Logic level over 9000 :|
>>#ReXiiforheadsensei
Take some pain relievers for that cancer, sensei XD
Describe how to do it: I'd first perform the single handseal, disrupting my opponent's chakra. Then, while they are in the genjutsu, I proceed to throw a paper bomb at them. The opponent will see this paper bomb, due to their disrupted chakra, as a clone of myself, and will most likely not expect the explosion coming! Simple and straightforward.
How many hand seals does it have: One.
Advantages: The masquerade of the paper bomb is very useful in taking care of an unsuspecting enemy. This element of surprise should open up a wealth of tactical advantages.
Disadvantages: D-ranked, easily "Kai"ed. The range is short, so if I throw the paper bomb at my enemy, I may get caught in the explosion as a result.
Combos and possible uses: I have questions here, instead of stating combos.
1. Can I use this with other ninja tools instead of just paper bombs? Like shuriken, kunai, smoke bombs... etc?
2. Does it affect multiple targets like an "area of effect", similar to the previous tech?
3. Can I use multiple paper bombs/tools, and will they all be masqueraded as clones? Because then I could launch a wide assault or barrage of weapons... or even use a shadow shuriken clone technique.
I feel getting the answers to these two questions will help me understand the technique further.
How to defend against it: Stay out of range. Be a sensor/dojutsu user. Genjutsu kai. D-ranks are kinda.. meh unless used properly. If the opponent has some sort of elemental armor technique or defensive mechanism already set up, chances are the damage this jutsu will cause isn't
Ok good.
I have been pretty inactive, so i will make up for that.
Also yellow text >>> yellow glow.
( Kasumi Jūsha no Jutsu ) - Mist Servant Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This illusion creates numerous illusionary clones of the user that appear to emerge from the ground, trees, rocks, etc. If these clones are attacked, they appear to multiply. The user can co-ordinate his attacks with the clones to make it appear as if they are real.
( Magen: Narakumi ) - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs two handseals causing it to appear as if a swirl of leaves surrounds the opponent. The swirl eventually falls away, and after a few seconds, the opponent sees the image of whatever they fear the most, shocking them and potentially causing them to faint.
( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.
( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.
( Genjutsu: Jinmon ) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.
( Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka ) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.
I wouldn't mind having 6 techs per post XD
Sorry for the late reply. Been catching up recently with all my trainings, haha
I did have some questions with the first tech I performed, but that's ok. I'll ask if I ever have to use it in battle.
Ok, here we go...
Describe how to do it: I'd manipulate my opponent's chakra by inserting my own, and making it affect the area surrounding it as well, allowing my victim's sense of sight to be tricked as clones seem to emerge from the ground, when they're really not. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: Can fool weaker opponents because they'd try and attack the clones, thinking they'd disperse. By multiplying and attacking, the effects can be very real if done properly. Disadvantages: Weak. Easily Kai'ed. Combos and possible uses: Good for hitting multiple targets and trapping them in a genjutsu. This allows them to be finished off during the How to defend against it: Kai. D-ranks are pretty weak, in honestly. If I didn't have time to do so, I'd use some large scale technique or a way to surge chakra through my own system to dispel the technique. Image of the technique:
You must be registered for see images
Describe how to do it: Performing two Hand seals, I'd manipulate my opponent's senses to make it appear like leaves are swirling around the target. Then, afterwards, I'd stop the swirling leaves and project an illusion of their greatest fear in front of them. How many hand seals does it have: Two. Advantages: The "greatest fear" part is lethal, as it can stop an enemy as they try and shield themselves Disadvantages: Weak. Kai'ed easily. D-rank. Requires hand seals. Combos and possible uses: Pretty much a basic illusion that can be used for education purposes. Useful against weaker opponents. How to defend against it: Kai. Sensory. Nothing too special here. Image of the technique:
You must be registered for see images
Describe how to do it: By creating the Tiger hand seal, I detect the source of my disrupted chakra. Through my own force of will and spiritual power, I then surge my chakra through my system, disrupting the flow and returning it to equilibrium, essentially cancelling the genjutsu that was cast upon me. But before performing this technique, I must first be aware that I am under a genjutsu. That's the hardest part. How many hand seals does it have: One. Advantages: Dispels almost every genjutsu. Nothing else to say. Disadvantages: N/A? Although what one can dispel is subject to certain technicalities. Combos and possible uses: Pretty much all in the description. How to defend against it: Don't have to. This is a defensive/supplementary tech. You could try and layer genjutus, making it harder to break out of it... or try and disrupt the hand seal formation by paralyzing my opponent's arms in some way. Image of the technique:
You must be registered for see images
Describe how to do it: By disrupting the chakra flow, I can confuse the senses of my opponent to give them the sensation that they're running straight... but in fact, they've been manipulated to run in circles, instead. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: Disrupts the opponent's sense of direction and movement, good for throwing off an attack or combination. Disadvantages: Weak, easily dispelled, not going to really work if my opponent uses a large scale technique. Combos and possible uses: I'd use this if my opponent was charging How to defend against it: Kai. Otherwise, what if I ran in circles? Would that mess up the genjutsu? Lol Image of the technique:
You must be registered for see images
Describe how to do it: By performing the genjutsu and placing it on an object that's in contact with my opponent, it can reveal information and catch my opponent off guard as a result. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: Can be used in intelligence gathering, I suppose. Revealing key information is also a plus. Disadvantages: Only works on weaker shinobi; doesn't seem to have any real usability in battle. Combos and possible uses: No real usage in battle, I think. Any insights, sensei? How to defend against it: Kai. Standard gen counters. Still pretty weak, although there may be something I'm not seeing here... Image of the technique:
(No image available)
Describe how to do it: By casting this genjutsu, I project the image of a huge fireball coming down from the sky and raining down on my opponent. Simple and straightforward. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: Good for creating a big distraction. Fireball can leave enemies paralyzed in fear! Disadvantages: My opponent may be able to see that a huge fireball coming from the sky is obviously unrealistic and therefore, they can identify that they are under an illusion. Combos and possible uses: While my opponent is distracted by the "fireball", I can go in for a follow up attack at close/mid range while they're watching it. I'd have to be fast, though. How to defend against it: Standard counters. Honestly, all genjutsus seem to be counterable in the same way, just with different wordings and phrases. If I don't feel the heat of the fireball, it's obvious it's an illusion. Image of the technique:
Okay. Sorry for my absence, just need to ask am i still training you? Some people dropped my training and honestly i'm not trawling my VM's to see who, so just a yes or no if you would dear student.
Good, good. Always nice to see some understanding xD
( Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu ) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.
(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.
( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.
I think the genjutsu list got updated since i already taught you about the double layered false surroundings, but whatever. Just do it again xd.
More detail if possible and lets get this done with, ask questions etc.
Describe how to do it: I'd channel my chakra and manipulate my opponent's senses to make them see an illusory clone, and by making it jump and explode, their senses would be disrupted. How many hand seals does it have: None at all. Advantages: This obscures my opponent's vision, making them vulnerable to attack. The clone is also a good way to cause a distraction, so while my opponent is focused on the clone, I could subsequently launch a powerful technique that would cause real damage. Disadvantages: The clone has to be able to be formed. If it can't, the technique will be unsuccessful. Combos and possible uses: Same as I listed in the "Advantages" section. How to defend against it: Essentially, when the clone explodes into the cloud of cherry blossoms, I'd have to realize that this is indeed a genjutsu, since there are no canon techniques that allow for the creation of a cherry blossom clone. If there are any other abnormalities with my other senses, then I can be aware that I am under a genjutsu. Image of the technique: (could not find an image)
Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.
Describe how to do it: I'd first disrupt my opponent's chakra system to give them the illusion of false surroundings, much like the weaker counterpart. But then, I'd repeat the process, creating a double illusion, but having the second illusion have a different terrain and surroundings as compared to that of the first. How many hand seals does it have: Three. Advantages: The dual layered genjutsu requires more effort to break and is Disadvantages: The dual layers may not work on a stronger shinobi or may take too long to cast, allowing for a mid combination interruption. Combos and possible uses: Depending on the terrain I create, it could be to my advantage. For example, I could first create the illusion of quicksand or a desert, and once that illusion is broken, I could follow up with a rainforest! The jarring changes would cause sensory overload and confuse my target even further. How to defend against it: Strong enough pain, or two releases at a time. Pretty self explanatory in the description. Maybe a low level fire or earth technique! Obviously, realizing that terrain can't change that dynamically is also essential to knowing how to break the illusion. Image of the technique:

In a RP fight, how many Genjutsu Releases are we allowed to do?
( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.
Describe how to do it: Using my sword, I'd make multiple waving movements with it, essentially "trancing" my opponent into hallucinating the appearance of multiple waving arms. The smooth continuous motion should even help cause dizziness and whatnot. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: These illusory movements can distract and confuse multiple enemies. They wouldn't be able to see where my follow up attacks would come from. Disadvantages: Requires a sword, obviously. Also, seems more straightforward when compared to other genjutsu techniques. Combos and possible uses: After performing this technique, I'd proceed to cut down my enemy while they're still distracted, preferably something quick and painless, giving them less time to react. How to defend against it: Standard gen counters. Image of the technique:
Hello there, i will take over your training as a temporary sempai of sorts for Rexii as he has requested it for some work. Hope you will do well under me as well as you are with Rexii.
Now back to business, nice work I guess. Anyways here are the next techniques you will be working on, you will reply with the exact same template and do the exact same thing as with Rexii. Yet I will answer questions if you have any.
...
( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.
( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.
( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.
(I'm really sorry once again for this late reply. I hope I haven't been dropped, sensei :T_T: )
Describe how to do it: First, I'd perform the three required hand seals. Then, by manipulating my opponent's chakra system and the surroundings with illusions, I can bind them, but in reality, they'll be paralyzed, leaving them open to a follow up strike. How many hand seals does it have: Three. Advantages: This has an element of surprise with the bean vines erupting from the ground. It would be harder and more surprising for my opponent to try and discern it's a genjutsu because they're trapped, attempting to struggle against what's not really there. Disadvantages: It's a good rank, but most powerful shinobi won't be fooled and easily break this. The hand seal requirement also allows my opponent to anticipate my attack. Requires sufficient support to be effective. Combos and possible uses: I could dual layer this genjutsu with something else, perhaps one of the other ones below. If I were a wood release user, I could even first use a wood technique and follow up with this illusion to hide the illusion vines from the actual wood, creating a lethal combination! How to defend against it: Moderate pain, sensory abilities, Genjutsu Kai. If the vines have no smell, no sensation of touch, etc. I could tell I'm in an illusion! Image of the technique: (None I could find)
Describe how to do it: I manipulate my opponent's chakra system to give them the impression that they are trapped by an illusion where a large flower bud appears beneath them, and I make it "explode". How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: This actually causes damage! That's rare for a genjutsu. It doesn't require hand seals, either. Disadvantages: Like other genjutsu, this delves into the realm of fantasy and is perhaps easier to distinguish from other illusions due to its ridiculous nature. Combos and possible uses: Dual layering, the fact that the opponent is left damaged slightly is great for a follow up attack. How to defend against it: Standard genjutsu counters as I listed above. Having a large, exploding flower does not naturally occur in the Naruto universe, so it would be a dead giveaway to my opponent that it isn't real. Image of the technique:

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death

The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.
Describe how to do it: I manipulate my opponent's chakra to make them see how I supposedly disappear in a mist. I then create a tree and immobilize my target, or at least give them the sensation that they can't move. How many hand seals does it have: Five. Advantages: By appearing behind the opponent who's immobilized, I can easily catch them by surprise. Disadvantages: Requires plenty of hand seals and can easily be read and predicted. It's also a short range technique, staying out of range will prove disastrous for me if I try to use this. Combos and possible uses: I could use this with the previous two techniques to create a "botany illusion" in order to screw over my opponent, Lol How to defend against it: Same as the others. Moderate pain (since it's a B rank), etc. Image of the technique:
( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.
( Genjutsu: Hanaoka ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Hill
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons up illusionary purple flowers from the ground in front of them, damaging enemies with a chance to paralyze them.
Note: Paralysis lasts one turn.
As for the question Gutsy missed. You can use Kai an unlimited number of times as i'm aware.
Awesome, last of the B-ranks. Thank you for not dropping me
( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Describe how to do it: I manipulate the opponent's senses in order to immobilize them, placing them under the illusion that they are being constricted by snakes. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: The opponent takes damage and is left immobile, two things that are critical in the RP. Disadvantages: None that I can think of, this technique seems pretty powerful, but it won't work on a stronger/more aware opponent, I suppose. Combos and possible uses: Because my opponent may think that the snakes are real and not an illusion, they'll try to break free without surging their own chakra, not realizing that it really is an illusion, leaving them vulnerable to almost any form of follow up attack. How to defend against it: Standard genjutsu counters. Recently, I used the S-ranked Earth Armor to form a defense and dispel the illusion at the same time. That was pretty cool.
Describe how to do it: This genjutsu has me casting the illusion of purple flowers that surrounds and damages them, as well as paralyzing them. How many hand seals does it have: None. Advantages: The paralysis lasts for an extra turn. Also, purple flowers can hide another jutsu, since my opponent will be focused on trying to 'counter' the flowers. Disadvantages: None that I can think of. Genjutsu is pretty OP in general. Combos and possible uses: Even if my opponent breaks free, they're still somewhat vulnerable, leaving openings for a follow up attack. How to defend against it: Elemental Armor. Even if I'm still paralyzed after breaking the Genjutsu, I'll at least I'll have some kind of defense to try and defend myself. Image of the technique: (no image for this one either :T_T: )
For those last two jutsu, can you tell me what type they are (Controlling, visual, paralysis etc) and how exactly you would deduce that they are genjutsu being used against you.
