"In that case you should be familiar with the technique, Chidori Negashi. It is a technique that releases chakra throughout your body from every chakra point, essentially surging your body of chakra. In genjutsu, the method known as 'Full body surge' is a method in which to release genjutsu which is similar to genjutsu kai in the sense that it uses a surge of chakra to expel the foreign chakra causing a disruption. Where it differs from kai is: in the genjutsu kai technique the shinobi momentarily halts or drastically slows down their flow of chakra and then suddenly re-establishes it. The answer is the Hyuga. The Hyuga shinobi are shinobi that specialize in precise chakra control to fit their specific taijutsu. There is a technique in the Hyuuga style taijutsu called Full Body Blow. That technique specifically releases chakra from every chakra point of the user's body in a big burst. That technique is precisely what is meant by a full body surge. However, you're not wrong when it comes to the Akimichi clan. The Akimichi, when they use their full expansion are using chakra from every point of their body to expand it. It would, in theory be able to release. I'm note 100% certain of the capability of that technique releasing genjutsu but I believe it would.

It's wise to study the basic abilities of clans and kekkei genkais in order to look for things that might be a hinderance to you when casting genjutsu, such as the Hyuga. Of course this would also apply to any other type of fighting, it's always good to do research in order to get to know your opponent rather well.

Now then; of course we covered the other methods of kai and pain. To find the information regarding how much pain it requires you to get out of different ranks of genjutsu can be found on the genjutsu thread in the special bio ability section. Now then the last thing I want to touch before we get to casting is the relationship between some advanced abilities that are going that are useful to know when dealing with genjutsu either offensively or defensively.

You already showed your knowledge to degree by mentioning Sage Mode, and Curse Marks. They are indeed two areas within the same method of external chakra insertion. That is because both utilize natural energy entering the body. The flow of natural energy through the body from the outside would be strong enough to knock one out of genjutsu just as a Curse mark, which also uses nature energy, would knock you out of illusion since it's both an external chakra force from nature and another shinobi. This can also be achieved through Jinchuuriki and Chakra Absorption. The Bijuu within the Jinchuuriki act like an ally who is constantly within their body and they have the ability to snap their Jin out of genjutsu whenever they detect it. Chakra Absorption also acomplishes genjutsu release by the way of extracting chakra from an outside entity and drawing it into the user's body. Now then I have one question for you, would you say a Shadow Clone or any physical clone has the ability to release the main body from a genjutsu if they were caught?

No /Yes , no because i dont think your clone can send you back your own chakra that will release you out of the genjutsu , not sayin that yoir clone cant send chakra just referring that i doubt your own chakra will be aufficent enough to releaae you , Yes if its a sage clone or a clone using ,cm,eig etc

the answer is yes in any case. The only condition that needs to be adhered to when having somebody else release you from genjutsu is that the chakra be separate from the chakra that is being disturbed by the genjutsu. Bijuu; their chakra is seprate from their Jinchuuriki therefore they can channel their chakra inside and break genjutsu. Once you create your clone, which takes a portion of the chakra from your body and separates it into its own entity outside your body it can push chakra inside your body. Regardless of it being yours or not it can relieve you of genjutsu. Understand?

Alright next order of business is genjutsu casting. For all existing genjutsu the method by which you cast is by projecting your own chakra into the cerebral nervous system of your opponent. The chakra is used to cause a disruption or irregular flow of chakra that affects the five senses and initiates a genjutsu. What genjutsu is, essentially, are illusions that come about from the manipulation of the senses. However, there are other forms of genjutsu, hypnotic genjutsu, that don't affect the five senses exactly but rather one's mental state causing various affects from: putting people to sleep, getting them to reveal information, tapping into their memories, or even detaching their mind and consciousness from their body and putting them under your own will. The latter generally being a more advanced form which is only found in individuals with especially high degrees of Yin such as the Uchiha and Kurama (though technically only the former has the ability to manipulate one's will).

The traditional way of casting a genjutsu is similar to that of ninjutsu. First you gather your chakra and you use hand seals as a medium to project your chakra into your opponent. With genjutsu there is no physical stream of chakra that travels so it isn't possible to see chakra for a genjutsu coming by sensors or dojutsu users as previously misconceived. However there are various other ways in which you can incite a genjutsu within your opponent. Tell me some ways you think genjutsu can be induced.

I was looking for something a little more specific but that's alright. You did capture the essence of the general. What I meant by other ways of casting genjutsu I meant; other than using hand seals how might one place an illusion on somebody else. You gave a good answer with the eye contact, however that is more reserved toward shinobi with dojutsu like the sharingan. Though an average person could create a genjutsu that was initiated through eye contact it's very rare now and usually only in customs

Think the five senses. Genjutsu (conventional) is merely the releasing of your chakra into your opponent to cause a disruption of chakra so if there are ways in which you can send your chakra into your opponent, mediums if you will, those constitute as methods by which one can cast genjutsu. I said the five senses because those are the most common ways outside of hand seals that one can initiate a genjutsu. Tactile (touching your opponent), visual (creating a visual affect or optical illusion), sound (this is advanced and can only be learned if you gained sound permission but I'll still explain it to you), Olfactory (mixing your chakra with aromas), and even taste (less common, doubt you'd be able to get somebody to eat something or ingest it but it's still a method)

There exists a custom fighting style called Lazy Fist created by my father Scorps which uses taijutsu movements to institute genjutsu. That's an example of touch based illusion. My mom Liliana has a Custom Element called Perfume which has some genjutsu affects and it's caused through the vaporized perfume which is an example of olfactory based genjutsu. Sound release utilizes soundwaves that carry one's chakra into their opponent's inner ear and disrupts their chakra. That is a very effective method due to the speed of sound and another advantage that we'll get to soon. Hell mom even tried to make taste based genjutsu but I don't think that's going so well. Now then, I want to talk a little bit about the specific benefits of Sound genjutsu. While we won't be learning sound in this training I want you to have at least a better standing of knowledge about it's potential given the fact you may come into contact with people who have Sound and, if you possess an Uchiha you may find yourself in a difficult position dealing with a member who knows sound based genjutsu.

Sound based genjutsu works on the sound medium by which I was telling you about earlier. It affects one by using chakra and traveling into their inner ear and creating vibrations and osculations. Unlike ordinary genjutsu one uses chakra in sound waves to carry their chakra to their opponent.

Now, if you ever get sound this next Q&A will help you. If you have an Uchiha, however, it may not help you so much or rather it can to let you know how to go about combating a sound user. Anyway my question for you is what is a big advantage that Sound Release genjutsu has over ordinary genjutsu. I've hinted at it and will give you one more to let you know it involves the clan I mentioned twice in this post

Uchiha , sound gen has a big advantage over regular gen because its sound based other words , if the opponent doesnt have ear plugs or something theyre pretty much vulnerable to every sound gen the user has etc

Well that's true and even with ear plugs it's possible for Sound based genjutsu to affect your opponent since you only need the vibrations really (if you know how to use them) however what I'm looking for is how this is even effective on Uchihas, shinobi who are capable of combating most forms of genjutsu. I'll give you another hint; how do Uchiha understand and even break out of genjutsu in ways that no other shinobi can do? Once you answer that then tell me how that method won't work against Sound genjutsu
