A shinobi glad in a black, high necked robe with the Uchiha symbol on the back appeared before you in a cloud of smoke. He wore black cloves and his piercing red Sharingan looked you dead in your eyes. He had a general scowl as he studied you up and down, before speaking.

Illisonary Arts ... Hmm my clans favorite the opposite of Ninjutsu Genjutsu is the abilty to use illisions on a enemy of sort.
Instead of physically touching the opponent the user manipulates the flow of chakra in the opponents brain , Creating a disturbance in there 5 senses , From what I heard it utilizes Yin Release , If im not mistaken

Ryun listens carefully to his sensei but sees he didnt quiet understand what he meant by it , Ryun in his mind just forgot about it & just answered his question to proceed on with the training

Correct me if im wrong but one way right off the back i know of breaking out of a genjutsu is causing pain to yourself.. But i have a question for you
If one uses a Genjutsu in which you are constricted ,Lets say you think of breaking the genjutsu by cutting yourself you move as if your not in it ? Or How does it work ? Like do you think of moving & It happens in reality while in the genjutsu your still being constricted ?
Another way is with Foreign Chakra , Such as Allies, curse marks & Sage mode ,

Hearing your question, Ieyasu makes four quick hand seals before his body disappears before you. From around you, you suddenly find several bean stocks appear, rising and wrapping around you. They wrap around your arms and legs, keeping them from one another while as well as wrapping around your neck in attempts to suffocate you. Try as you might you're incapable of moving an inch. A pod comes up from behind you, sprouting open and revealing Ieyasu.

Ryun listens as his teachers speaks while speaking ryun feels a tight squeeze on him as he looks down and sees vines from what it seems like to be busted beans , That rise from the ground ..
