Konan throws a smoke bomb at the oncoming clone and uses the cover to escape to a nearby tree. She then casts a genjutsu over the opponent, causing them to continue thinking they are moving in a straight line through the smoke, but are actually moving in circles. To make the feeling of traversing a large space and getting nowhere more real, Konan layers more smoke bombs on top of and around the opponent, making them never leave the smoke. Ever. Konan than throws an explosive kunai into the smoke, killing the clone.
Pros:
-No Handseals
-Can be useful from a distance
Cons:
-Not very useful in a 1v1 battle

I could see this used if the opponent was traversing a forest or another dense terrain in the NW to maximum effectiveness. Possibly to delay arrival of an army or something?

"I like the usage, well done, you could have used some Paper technique as well, to confuse them. And yeah, or delay someone from getting to a certain destination in time. It's easily broken though, cause of its low rank and one can easily realize its a Genjutsu. Nonetheless, here you go."

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

"Now, the next technique is only useful in the NW, and even then, barely usable most of the time. Through physical contact on a stationary foe, you will induce a Genjutsu, that makes them tell you their darkest secrets. They will reveal important information, and even allows you to gather information like a real shinobi would, without meta-gaming. However, it only works if the opponent is two ranks lower than you. Use it against my clone, so he tells you where he hid the suitcase."

Kiritsugu creates a clone that waits for Konan.

I walk up to my sensei's clone and touch it on the forehead, disturbing his chakra flow, casting a genjutsu over him. This causes him to tell me his deepest darkest secrets, including where he hid his suitcase. Then, I slap him across the face, dispersing the clone. I then
walk over to a nearby rock and pick up the suitcase from behind it.
Pros:
-Get people to tell you where they hid their porn! (or death note)
-.....
Cons:
-It can't be used in battle
-Only useful in a very specific NW situation

I could see it used in a torture situation, but the NW really isn't that active.

"The NW is only as active as we make it. Good job, and with advantages, I'd say you could get some good information which would prevent meta gaming. Anyway, here you go."

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

"Next, we got a Genjutsu that is ideal to couple with Fire. Without the need for hand seals, you will cast an illusion on the opponent, which causes them to see a large fireball descend from the sky, towards them. The fire ball would then hit them, and engulf them in flames. It's a nice way to get the opponent to focus on the sky, whilst you perform a technique from below, for example. Overall, pretty simple. Use it against my clone."

Kiritsugu creates a clone that runs towards Konan.

Konan runs towards the clone. She then fakes a jumping movement, and casts a genjutsu over the clone, who would think she is jumping into the air. This causes the clone to see a fireball descending from the sky onto him. As the fireball hits the clone in the genjutsu, Konan throws a paper bomb at it, causing the clone to disperse.
Pros:
-Can be used to "attack" from two fronts (or so they think)
-Generally, fire is perceived as very dangerous, so most people would look to avoid that before anything else, save maybe lightning.
Cons:
-Requires the opponent to believe you are in the air or using a fire jutsu
-Easily broken

I could see this used in conjunction with clones. You could have a shadow clone cast this while jumping above the opponent, and you could like stab them or something.

Rank: C

Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.

"Last C rank now. Without the need for hand seals, you will cast an illusion on the opponent where they will see an illusionary clone run towards them. This clone will then, upon getting close, explode into a large amount of cherry blossoms. This obscures the opponent's vision, and allows you to attack. Very simple, yet effective Genjutsu. Best to use when the opponent can't see you, and they might think its a real clone. Use it against my clone."

Konan throws a smoke bomb towards the ground. She then uses the opportunity to cast a genjutsu over the clone, making them see a clone of Konan run towards them. The clone then explodes in front of the enemy clone into a swarm of cherry blossoms, obscuring its view further. Konan then rushes the enemy and slices him in the center of the stomach with her Tanto, causing him to disperse.

Also, would you be able to teach me Raiton? I know up to lightning strike armor in c rank, but that's it. If you can't, it's ok, I know you are busy.

Ahh yes.
Pros:
-Distracts enemy
-Can be used as a cover to layer area-based genjutsu
Cons:
-Easily detected
-Low rank, so easily broken

I could see this used with things like false surroundings, as they would not be able to see their surroundings due to the cherry blossoms clouding their view.

Thats ok. Maybe after we finish gen?

Sure, we'll see after this.

"Good job, here you go."

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.

"Now, onto the B ranks. Remember, we spoke about Genjutsu Layering? Now this first B rank technique revolves around Layering of genjutsu. I want you to analyze it for me, read through the scroll and tell me all about it, and how you would use it, etc. Here you go."

Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

Interesting. So from what I know, genjutsu can be layered by default. This technique makes a technique of that though. So essentially, you double up the false surroundings tech. Say you dispel the first genjutsu, the second appears. It could be very useful in a lot of situations. For starters, you could definitely make an obvious change of surroundings like a huge desert appear. You would then make the stone spikes tech for example, and have the second illusion be a version of the area you are actually in, just without the spikes. The spikes would then pierce the opponent, breaking the genjutsu and killing them (note stone spikes come out of the earth and are considered a visual terrain feature). This is quite a useful technique. The thing is, I think that because this is technically a single genjutsu tech, you could actually layer another genjutsu on top of it.

"Good, and its two layered already, so layering another Genjutsu would just make it three layers, and it'd have to be non-conflicting as well, and lower ranked. Anyway, let's move on.

The next technique is one used in Short range, and with a sword. Once close to the opponent, waving your sword back and forth, would induce the illusion. This would cause the opponent to see you with multiple arms, which all have a sword. These arms sway like the branches of a Willow tree, and make it difficult for the opponent to determine where the hit comes from. So, directly after inducing this, one would deliver a quick sword strike. Use it against my clone."

Konan swings her sword around like Guts, then casts a genjutsu on the clone, causing them to see Konan with multiple hands. As these hands swirl around, Konan swings her real sword at the clone, dispersing it.
Pros:
-No handseals
-Short range so hard to counter
Cons:
-Requires a sword
-Easily detected

I could see this used in lieu of some sort of feint. It does it job in any close range situation.

"Good, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

"Okay, the next Genjutsu requires you to form the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals. This will induce the illusion, and cause the opponent to see you disappear. At the same time, bean vines would grow from beneath them, and lift them to the air, as their arms and legs are constricted. The opponent is lifted into the air, and from before them, a bean pod would rise, and from it, you would emerge and strike the opponent. All this bizarre stuff happen in the illusion, and in reality, the opponent is merely immobilized, and allows you to strike. Use it against my clone."

Alright. You checked out my new bio?

Konan weaves 4 handseals, casting a genjutsu on the clone. The clone then sees an illusion where they are suddenly immobilized, as a large beanstalk sprouts beneath it, causing its vines to raise the clone into the air, trapping it. In front of the bean stalk, a bean pod rises from the ground, causing the opponent to see me, with my sword as I slash them. In real life, I slash them as they are immobilized in place.
Pros:
-Impossible to break without a foreign chakra or dojutsu, as the opponent is immobilized
-Causes Damage
Cons:
-4 handseals
-Easily detected

You could use this against any enemy without a sharingan of 3T or higher. They would find it difficult to counter.

"It can also be broken, with pain. Good job, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

"Okay, next is an interesting Genjutsu. Without the need for hand seals, you will cast a Genjutsu on the opponent. They will see themselves trapped within a large flower bud. This flower bud then explodes, and because of the mental stress on the opponent, the Genjutsu is actually capable of causing real damage and inflicting a whooping 40 damage on the opponent. A very nice technique, but easily realized and hence, broken. Use it against my clone."

Konan casts a genjutsu on the clone. In the illusion, the clone sees itself trapped in a large flower bud. This bud then suddenly explodes, causing so much mental stress that the pain becomes real, dealing damage to the clone and dispersing it.
Pros:
-No handseals
-Does damage
Cons:
-Easily detected
-Does not paralyze opponent, making it easy to break

You could use this at any time, especially if the opponent was constricted in some way.

"Indeed, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

"Next, a technique where you will form five hand seals, and induce the illusion. This will cause the opponent to see you dissolve into a mist, of course, as part of the illusion. As you get closer in reality, the opponent would be immobilized by a fast growing tree, which constricts them. From this tree, you would emerge and strike the opponent. In reality, however, the opponent is merely immobilized and allows you to strike. Use it against my clone."

This is that one that kurenai used on itachi.

Konan makes 5 handseals, casting an illusion on the opponent. In the illusion, the opponent sees a tree sprout from behind them, binding their arms, paralyzing them. As this happens, Konan's upper body extends out of the tree, holding a kunai to her opponent's throat. In reality, Konan is simply stabbing the opponent with a kunai. The clone then disperses.
Pros:
-Paralyzing
-Hard to passively recognize due to complex handseal sequence.
Cons:
-5 handseals

You could use this anywhere. I would do it out of sight, and then make a clone to attack the opponent while holding a kunai. I'd then have the clone make fake flashy handseals to make it seem like a normal jutsu.

"The very same one. Here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

"Next, we got a technique which doesn't require hand seals. You will induce an illusion on the opponent, and cause them to see snakes appear beneath them. These snakes crawl up, and aim to constrict them, as they do so. Through your command, these snakes will crush the opponent. A nice technique to use in conjunction with Snake summonings, if you have them. Use it against my clone."

Kiritsugu creates a clone that runs towards Konan.
