This next jutsu was used in the Chunin exams. When my clone begins walking, send your chakra to him and have him believe he is walking in a straight line, thus proceeding.
In reality, he is walking in circles.

I start by focusing my chakra for a second and I then send the chakra to the mind of your clone so that I can disrupt the flow of his chakra, I then picture a certain image and send it to his mind, as your clone is picturing himself running towards me as that is the image I transferred to his mind, he is actually running around in circles.
This would cause your clone to get exhausted from all the running as well as frustrated due to the fact that he is continuously running but he cannot reach me.

I start by focusing a portion of my chakra which I then transfer to the mind of your clone in order to disrupt his chakra flow and take over his five senses, I then form a image in his mind, which is a large fireball dropping towards him from the sky, and see that I have control of his five senses for a moment, I make him smell the stench of the fire, as well as feel the heat and see the intensity of the flames.
This is a good one as the user is in control of the targets five senses, so the target could easily be influenced into believing that the fireball is real.

He would most probably try to counter the fireball with a water technique, and I am not sure how I would counter his counter, perhaps with a earth technique which is stronger than the water technique.
No, that was perfect. You're correct, use Earth against the Water. Genjutsu is all about playing with the mind of your opponent to get them to react the way you want them to.

I start by gathering a portion of my chakra which I then transfer to the mind of your clone in order to disrupt his chakra flow and take over his five senses once again, I then form a image in his mind and make him see myself creating a shadow clone, I then make your clone see my clone walking towards, this would naturally cause your clone to make an attempt on my clone, then as your clone reaches mine, I manipulate him to see my clone explode into a shower of cherry blossom petals.
This would put the target on the edge of his nerves as well as put him off guard for a moment as due to the surprise of the explosion of petals, he wouldn't know where to look for me, therefore he will be vulnerable to an attack.

Off-guard is an excellent way to describe it. Along with the more negative aspects of Genjutsu such as fear or stress, surprise also plays a pretty huge role.

- Surprising people is basically catching them off guard, and it inflicts shock, which makes them vulnerable for usually a short amount of time, and in that moment, allows you to pull off moves.
- Surprising people can also be a short timeframe in your moves, as your opponent is human and has feelings, and should react to your jutsus. Hesitation and shock usually give you time to plan and think.

If the sword is being swung in a hypnotic manner, then I guess the clone will be hypnotized, meaning whatever I say he should do or something of that sort, the clone could also potentially get sleepy or tired.
As your clone is disturbed by the hypnosis he was put under by myself, I focus my wind release chakra within my arm, I then swing my arm in the clones direction and release the wind chakra in the form of a unblockable ferocious slicing blade of wind, directed at his neck in order to seperate his head from his body, naturally making him disperse from the direct hit.

Take over all five senses of my clone and then have him believe that several vines are immobilizing him, lifting him into the air. Then, YOU RISE FROM A BEAN POD...*dramatic drum roll*...READY TO SEND HIM TO HIS DEMISE!

I start again by gathering my chakra throughout my entire body for a second, I then focus this gathered chakra into the mind of your clone whom is standing before me, by doing this I am able to take control of all five senses of your clone, I then have him believe and see that a random flower is emerging from the ground beneath him, I then manipulate this flower into attaching itself to the body of your clone, as the flower successfully attaches itself to your clone, I have it detonate causing a small to medium sized explosion, this explosion would cause your clone to scream in agony due to the pain and due to him believing that it was an explosion, thus leaving him open to an attack.
