Alright, I'll explain reasoning.
Because Genjutsu is meant to screw with and manipulate the brain, there are always flaws with it because it does not pertain to reality (unless we are talking Izanagi). For example, I would have easily reasoned the instant the snakes constricted me that:

• My opponent never summoned any snakes before the battle began.
• Only Orochimaru and Kabuto actually have possession of snake summonings, and I don't think your opponent is very likely to be one of these.

Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

This next move is a short to mid range jutsu. Keep that in mind as you are not going to be simply manipulating your opponent this time.
After you take over my clone's brain, begin tossing explosive tags at him, in a manner so that he is led that all of them are fluttering butterflies. In the process, while he is mesmerized, have him believe that he is sinking into the ground (thus, trapped within it), allowing you to toss a final explosive tag on his head.
Remember to time this jutsu, and when you believe you've thrown enough explosive tags, detonate them all with the Snake Handseal.

I channel my chakra in to the atmosphere around us, I then cause a lot of feathers, to slowly, float down to the earth from the sky. This soothing motion causes you and your clone to drift in to sleep...

I send my chakra in to your clone. I take over his 5 senses as usual, this time, I only focus on the sense of vision, causing him to completely lose his sight. However his other 4 senses will still be in order.

Well, it's very dodgy that all of a sudden, I lose my sense of vision. But I don't think that's a good enough answer. Well, genjutsu in general work with the 5 senses majority of the time. And it won't be surprising if a genjutsu focuses on one sense.

Jutsus will defiantly be off course. Unless you aim straight and use wide-scale attacks. But that would rely on the target not moving for some reason.

I would rely on sounds. Since hearing is pretty good, unless they in the air, then you are screwed in a way.
