Genjutsu,also known as Illusionary Arts are techniques like ninjutsu,but they are only Illusions as the name states.Though these Illusions affect the chakra flow of the opponent's brain,making them believe that this illusion is indeed reality.It affects the five senses.So Genjutsu creates images and pain to the opponent to enhance the effect of reality.The brain is led to believe it,so it hurts the opponent.Some Genjutsu can trap you in a loop or even manipulate you.Genjutsu requires handseals to perform.One of the most dangerous Genjutsu are those that are executed using sound,as the user can stay out of sight.The Uchiha with their Sharingan are known to be good with performing Genjutsu and also recognizing it and combating it.
Now to combat Genjutsu,a few things can be done.A ninja has to stop the flow of chakra in his body and apply a stronger power to disrupt it,thus breaking out of the Genjutsu.This is called Genjutsu Kai.Another ninja can insert their chakra into the affected person,thus disrupting the chakra flow of the affected and breaking him out of the Genjutsu.Jinchuuriki can't be affected by Genjutsu because their Tailed Beast would break them out.Then there is pain.If a ninja is caught in a Genjutsu,they can cause pain to themselves to snap back to reality,like Shikamaru did against Tatuya,he broke his own finger.There are Genjutsu,that are difficult to break out like Tsukoyomi.The Sharingan is also known for easily recognising Genjutsu due to the fact that they can see chakra flow.

I stand in close proximity to Cobalt sensei.I then release my chakra and cast a Genjutsu on my sensei.This Genjutsu would affect Cobalt sensei's perception of our surrounding.I then cause the surrounding to become a barren wasteland with no sign of life,just me and my sensei.I only change the way the surrounding looks,nothing else.
"Pretty dead,isn't it"

I start by making five handseals,my body then dissolves into many Sakura/cherry blossoms or so it is seen by the person caught in the Genjutsu.These cherry blossoms would then surround the opponent,effectively blinding him.

Just because they disappear in cherry blossoms doesn't show it's a genjutsu. There are several technique that allow that. What gives this technique away are the hand seals required and then the sudden disappearing.

I start by performing a single handseal that sets the illusion in motion while facing my opponent.I then throw a paperbomb towards my opponent,but due to the illusion,the opponent will see a clone rushing at them.Upon reaching the opponent,the paperbomb explodes and causes damage to the opponent as they did not take any defensive measures.

I start by creating an illusion that creates multiple clones.These clones emerge from the ground,surrounding trees and even rocks/boulders.The number of clones are indefinite and if attacked they multiply.
Using tactics and strategy,one could easily use this Genjutsu to confuse your opponent,and also to give you an opening when the opponent is engaged with the illusionary clones.

-As I started fighting more and reading more,I have seen various combos and techniques used in creative ways.One could combine this by having a clone to always cover you especially against Uchiha who are proficient with Genjutsu,so if you use this technique,the clone could attack or defend for you (I have Mokuton so that clone can perform all wood techniques,which is a great help) Even though it is relatively fast,one still needs a cover while you are busy getting out of a genjutsu,also a teammate would be a great help as another person can break you out by placing their hand on you and sending chakra into your body thus spiking it.
Ways to counter:
-So,this technique can't work on some genjutsu like ones that paralyze you due to the fact that you need to perform a single handseal which wouldn't be possible if you are paralyzed.Of course there is the MS and EMS which genjutsu are too powerful for this technique,which makes it the perfect techniques to use against an opponent as you know they can't break free but as we know,very few members have MS and much less EMS (does someone even have it .-. ).So except for that,the sharingan can recognise handseals of cannon techniques that they have seen before,so when one performs the handseal for this technique,they would know you want to break free and thus they can do suprise attacks on you.Another counter would be if your opponent is of higher rank,they would use a genjutsu that they know you can't break out of,thus rendering this technique useless,but I have never actually seen someone pull a trick like that,as the opponent would then have to hurt himself and explain how he noticed it was a genjutsu.This gives the opponent the upperhand,as you are now injured.

- - By performing a single handseal,it can break you out of a genjutsu,the rank dependent on your rank (for me,it's up to A rank Genjutsu),so it's a quick way of getting out a genjutsu without hurting yourself and rendering yourself less capable during the rest of the match
- - You can even break others except yourself out of the genjutsu with physical contact which is useful in a fight against a strong opponent when you are fighting with a teammate
- -As it requires only a single handseal,it happens relatively fast and you waste too much time breaking out of the genjutsu because it is almost always that an opponent uses an offensive move directly after casting a genjutsu on you
- - You still have to show your reasoning as to how you figured out it was a genjutsu,you can't simply say you perform the handseal and bam! you are out,without the correct perception of the illusion used on you,you won't break free.This gets more difficult as the genjutsu ranks rise and with various sharingan genjutsu and custom genjutsu (Lilli-chwan has scary ones )
- - This won't suffice against the MS and a few genjutsu techniques that paralyze you because all MS genjutsu techniques are forbidden rank so even if you are Sage rank,you can't break from the most powerful genjutsu with a simple technique like this.
