Genjutsu and Kamui?

After many debates on Itachi vs Obito I have a question to ask. Kamui negates all physical ninjutsu and taijutsu attacks. However, does it negate Genjutsu attacks?

The reason I ask is cause technically if the User only phases a body part away then that means his mind is still in the physical realm thus meaning genjutsu should work right?

The only way I could see Genjutsu not working is if he goes to Kamui dimension 100%

Furthermore it seems Kakashi = Obito in genjutsu and Itachi > Kakashi in genjutsu so could Genjutsu work if a person does not go completely to kamui land?

Sad thing is Kishi has really side railed genjutsu

this....! you are right about everything but kakashi < itachi in genjutsu...! kakashi has improved a lot since their fight in part 1...! so much that he can use genjutsu on uchihas level...! and obito is an uchiha so even if you think kakashi is inferior in genjutsu, obito can break any visual genjutsu....! So said by itachi himself....!

A fully intangible Tobi would be immune to Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, You cant make eye contact if Tobi's eyes are in a different dimension =D

Kakashi will be = Tobi in Genjutsu the moment he controls, Bijuu's, Kurama and Yagura (Supposed Perfect Jin)

how so...? itachi clearly stated that genjutsu cannot be used on someone with same eyes that's the reason izanami was created... otherwise they would have just genjutsued their comrades to not use izanagi anymore...!

Well he used Human Path to control the Bijuus not Genjutsu and he even struggled to control them with Human path. Kurama control is not a genjutsu feat. It is a unlocking MS feat and Yagura is all speculation

Nope Itachi was stating Two Izanagi users can't use it against each other otherwise they would fight forever for the results to change. Izanami was created to stop Izanagi

Think about it like this, all obito has to do is remember to keep that part of his body intangible for any sharingan user. Not hard to do but the only weakness to this would be that he does have to keep his eye intangible constantly so the 5min limit would come into play.

So yes kamui can evade genjutsu, & he closes his eye to recharge the limit.

huh! so tell me why they didn't just use genjutsu to stop one or more people from using izanagi.??? because genjutsu doesn't work among uchihas with same eyes...! itachi even told sasuke to come before me with MS.. and was surprised when kakashi said in their 2nd meeting that it won't go the same way as it did last time. and itachi said " kakashi san, you couldn't have..." couldn't have what?? awakened MS...! meaning genjutsu doesn't work on someone with same eyes and that's the reason why kakashi was able to keep up with obito in genjutsu because both had MS...!
