I thought Barca need a defender ? with that money they can easily buy Benatia or Silva, and they're keeping Pedro and Sell Alexis ? LOL

It has been suggested that Suarez deal might happen with a sponsor funding (though I doubt it), it is easier to get a sponsor funding for suarez, rather than say Silva or a Hummels but then again I can't contemplate why don't they sign a good defender.They should sign Hummels.
Last year they sold Thiago, they are regretting it now and now they sold Sanchez, they should have sold Pedro, he was disappointing last season, he thinks too much, doesn't scores and Sanchez, Cuenca and Tello were all better than him.
As for Kroos transfer I am truly disappointed by Pep for selling Kroos, he is a unique talent, but probably disagrees with Pep on many points, hence being sold, quite akin to Zlatan affair at Barcelona.
Pep is going to regret selling him. I just hope Thiago lives up to his name or we might be in trouble.
But as you rightly said he will be the replacement of an ageing Alonso, will boost your midfield.
Also I have heard RM selling Morata to Juventus but on insistence of Real Madrid officials Juventus have agreed to insert a buy-back clause into the deal.

This current board and sign defenders? Surely your joking they don't know what defence mean. Zubizarreta just recently said their aren't any defenders better then Pique and Mascherano lol
Actually beside messi and sanchez, pedro was barca leading goal scorer he improved significant last season and had a sort of healthy rivalry going on with alexis which helped both players improve on their game. I am optimistic that barcelona will buy quality center backs. Our main targets are matthieu from valencia, marquinhos from paris saint germain and lastly vertonghen should the two targets failed to be acquired. We made a bid for mathieu both it was up to his asking price and reports are suggesting that barcelona will sit down with the board to discuss and negotiate. We are also looking at juan cuadrado as a possible replacement for dani alves should he leave.

As a Bayern Munich fan I am sad to see him depart, but I hope we will be fine this year. As for Real he will solidify their midfield as Alonso was ageing.

I felt they didn't need him, but there are rumors that Di Maria might be sold to PSG and I do feel they slightly overpaid for him, but thats how Don Florentino Perez does his business, he makes an offer which teams cannot refuse=D=D

I believe the Toni Kroos deal ensures Sami Khedira will be leaving Real Madrid, since there's been considerable interest for him from Arsenal and Chelsea

Why is Australia's FIFA Ranking so low? They're rank is 76. That's too low, they managed to score 2 goals against Holland even though they lost.

Philipp Lahm retires from international football (
It is a sad day for Germany fans like me :T_T:, the best RB retires, he is going to be missed. It was an unselfish decision from his side, which will help, develop new talent for Germany, he could have easily stayed till Euro 2016, but he bowed down for the future of the team.

I hope Miroslav Klose plays till 2022, he will be 44 by then.
In other news today Courtois officially announced his departure from Atletico Madrid(

If my Chelsea won't win the BPL upcoming season I'll throw them to hell. With the singing of Luis, Eden will have more freedom going up front and the singing of Fabregas makes this team ideal to play lots of through balls to the wings. I wonder if Schurlle will play a vital role on the right side of the pitch.
Chelsea have a complete squad and i think they have made some good deals and mourinho made signings that chelsea needed such as striker and defender, and maybe a back up center back for john terry but they should be able to cope. Reports in the media say barcelona are targeting jeremy matthieu of valencia a player who is turning 31 this october and his release clause is 20m and valenica are not willing to sell for below that price. I just dont understand this board sure they made some good signings but center back position is the priority and the intend to buy a guy who is nearly 31 years? Sighs. They can spend 75 million pounds on suarez but to spend 30 or 40 on marquinhos or mangala its too expensive? Unbelievable!

I think Barca's problems will only change if the board is ditched now, last I heard they alongside with Valencia, they were willing to pay 22mil for Daley Blind, he is good defensive midfielder but with Mascherano, Busquets where will they fit him, I think they are buying anything with defensive associated with it except a CB. They purchased song which couldn't make any impact and now this.They should immediately purchase Marquinhos, Benatia, Mathieu or Vertonghen irrespective of the cost as they might still be banned for 4 transfer windows as their ban is pending on appeal and if that happens it might be difficult for them to cope competitively.
It seems like 3 things in life are certain, Death, Taxes, and Barca not buying a CB XD.

If Chelsea doesn't win a trophy this year( either BPL, or CL), I think Abramovich will want Mourinho's head on a stick, but they seem to be dangerous after this transfer season, they might still purchase Joao Miranda, thats looking like a very strong team.
