what are you talking about dude ? Messi is a good boy so he definitely deserve to win Ballon D'Or this year despite his performance, jk

but really CR7 deserve to win this one, i mean look at his form he's on cloud 9,
as for Ribery well Sneijder doesn't even make it into the top 3 despite accomplishing more for his team and country than Ribery so why should this hypocrite win it ? i don't think he's that instrumental for bayern last season, Bayern is all about teamwork + Heynckes last season they're not one man team...............
You are actually right about the Sneijder thing, which is why after all these years of watching football and the Ballon Do'r I still don't truly understand these judges.

Rooney is the arguably the best player in the EPL, his performances in the last few games were absolutely phenomenal. Scoring goals is actually just a bonus for him, his movement, vision, creativity and versatility are outstanding. He truly is a complete player. I still can't believe how much energy he has.

I really like Messi, he is a brilliant player, but I have to be honest this season so far AND the last he hasn't impressed me at all. I was already surprised that he won the Ballon d'or last year, because I did feel Ronaldo was better overall. But anyway I'm not going to get into that now, this season he's just unlucky with injuries, this is his second already, just when I thought he was showing signs of being in form again after the Milan match.

Ribery deserves it big time, I mean he has been beyond amazing, although so has Ronaldo with him scoring every match he plays. 24 goals this season already is some number, 8 of those are champions league goals. For 2013 he has 62 goals down and dotted.
Actually messi deserved the ballon d or last year? He scored 91 goals in a calendar year which is a record in the history of european football he even scored 71 goals in a season which was another record too. Last season he scored 60 goals in 50 apperances compared to ronaldo who scored 55 goals in 55 apps messi once again outclassed ronaldo and got the laliga golden boot, european golden boot, and helped his team with laliga with 100 points, whereas ronaldo was trophyless and the only thing he can take pride of is his ucl top scorer award, So despite his goals this year, ronaldo has no trophy to show for it who unlike messi for last season has both the trophies and the goals to back him up, now dont say that 2 season ago ronaldo won laliga trophy so why didnt they give him? True he did, But so did messi he won a trophy too the spanish cup if i can recall and scored 91 goals in a calendar year so what more do you need lol? Based on last season alone messi deserves the ballon d or because he won the league and got the european golden boot, and basically carried the whole of the barca team on his back, unlike ribery who true won the treble but it was due to a collective effort not his own individual effort unlike messi whose mere prensence in quarter finals against psg changed the game despite him being injured lol.In my opinion 2014 ballon d or should go to ribery mainly because excluding messi who already lost the race due to his injury his closest competiton ronaldo in so far off in terms of trophies which would be a huge factor in deciding who wins the ballon d or, ronaldo was trophyless compared to ribery who won the treble and also ribery goal tallies was not sure but over 20 goals for the season who for a winger isnt bad.

Okay lets just break this down a bit (I'm starting to regret mentioning last year) we have to ask ourselves, how does one choose a Ballon dor winner? What do they look at?

Goals? Assists? Overall performance? Team success? Records?

According to me previous awards and team success have nothing to do with it, Ballon dor is completely just the individual player and how he plays. So now what? Goals? Some goals come by easy while others come by pure hard work, can goals be included? It's easy for a striker to just tap the ball in the goal post after hard work coming from the midfield. With that being said, then why don't goalkeepers and defenders ever win?

I've actually lost my trail of thought lol this is mouthful to get your head wrapped around it...

And United lost yet again, I opened today's newspaper read about United vs Everton and got so angry that I threw it in the dustbin.:rage:
When they had draw against spurs, home game and considering Rooney's form I was expecting at least a draw if not win, and what Moyes said on top of that was really disappointing, he just said 'We could have done better, we missed chances', ya they did miss, and I agree that luck wasn't on our side, but we can't simply neglect the mistakes made by United.
I am still not getting Moyes's plans behind not including Harnandez in the playing eleven, he could have introduced Welbeck as a sub if he wanted to outrun Everton, but considering the fact that Rooney-Hernandez pair can prove vital, I want United to focus more on Harnandez-Rooney, there are many other things that caught my eye, while watching highlights, man I am disappointed with Moyes.:vincent:

And United lost again just a few hours ago LMAO....
where is Escorp ? i kinda remember him bragging about MANU is back after beating Arsenal :p
Well, the Arsenal match was the last good Premier League match, United did. Coincidentally, it coincides with the last match Carrick played with us, before his injury. I'm not including the Leverkusen match (even if it was a fantastic performance) but that's just because Giggs can produce magic every 2 months but he cannot be a reliability like Carrick.

Simply put, United always had one real class midfielder, with him, injured - so is the midfield. And thereby, those results of those uninspiring draws and defeats. What's happening is a direct consequence of the utter failure in the last transfer window! Not reinforcing our midfield with 2 great midfielders, just destroyed this whole half-season in shatters...

should have let Pogba played instead recalling Scholes LOL

You know am still wondering about united missing out on midfielders in the summer, i mean how in the world United lose against my beloved Roma to get Strootman ?
i mean he's way cheaper than Fellaini and United is already targeting the lad since last year,

and now i heard moyes want him again and offer 35M EURO to Roma, i can only say United can keep their money cause Roma will never sell him unless they offer 60M EURO :p
that guy is a BEAST

I think Moyes is a cup coach, just like benitez
Not really, i mean Benitez win La Liga with Valencia..

Strootman could have been a nice addition to our squad, Moyes failed there.:|
Not only strootman many other players including Alcantara.

I guess it had to take 2 months of messi to be sidelined to finally win his 2nd ballon d or, well good-luck to him in catching messi record tally.

Are you kidding me? Upon messi missing the last 3 weeks of last season he still had better stats than ronaldo messi had 60goals in 50games whereas ronaldo had 55goals in 55games, admit it if messi was not injured ronaldo wouldn't have had it easy or i dare say even won it but that's all speculation sighs

This is what Messi said

"I don’t know if it would have been different if I hadn’t been injured, but I was out for a long time. It meant I wasn’t in the best shape at the end of the Champions League and meant I started the season injured.

"It was a long time out, but that has nothing to do with it. Cristiano had a great year and he won it on merit."

so man up and respect The Fifa Ballon D'or 2013 Winner.
