I'm really happy to see Arsenal, Dortmund and PSG getting so much better. They will bring cool actions in the CL, and get more fear from other clubs. Also, not to mention Schalke that just got Kevin-Prince Boateng. Happy to see Kaka back at Milan.
I'll make a prediction of the CL Group Stages, later.
Also, funny how Bayern got the UEFA SuperCup, don't you think? :yeah:
Coming back to the hot transfer of today: I do believe that Bale will be a success. But frankly, I wonder if it was worth to lose both Ozil & Kaka, for Madrid.
Real Madrid payed 100m euros for Bale, and got 50m euros by selling Ozil to Arsenal, and Kaka to Milan for free. And yes, that was the same thing I was wondering. Making such big moves, just for Bale? Will they be able to win La Liga or CL? Will it be worth it? I don't know...

No this clearly indicates that you shouldn't underestimate Bayern...U_U
And now since Arsenal got Ozil, watch out for group F in CL, it's going to be cracking one....XD
I really like Fellaini but I think we needed a creative player like Herrera much more so I wouldn't really call it half an accomplishment, more like less a failure. And honestly, I blame it more on Woodward, his refusal to make fair bids costed us not only some good players, but also 4 mil on the Fellaini deal because he refused to pay the buyout clause in the beginning.
I wonder why United didn't go for Özil? Certainly better then Fellaini but hey, not saying I don't like it, United won't be a threat for Chelsea this season. =D

Özil, Schürrle and Erriksen were options, they didn't go after either of them. Erriksen costed only about 12mil... They could go after Gündogan too. I mean there were so many options out there apart from Fellaini, and it's not like they can't afford to spend 50-60 mil on players.

Don't know what United was doing all summer, the certainly missed plenty of good opportunities to sign decent players and then on deadline day, they panicked and all ended in farce.

I'm looking forward to see Tottenham too. They bought many players and AVB will try to make them play the football he likes. Last season Tottenham ended with 74 points, the highest ever, 1 point away from the Champion... But after habing spent more than 100 millions, they have a lot pressure to be in the top 4
Liverpool is looking good too, 3 games, 3 wins, I think none conceded. Arsenal was already strong without reinforcement, now with Ozil.. Dios mio.... Man Utd, City, and Chelsea will be good too i guess... Then there are other good sides like Everton...
That's why the English Premier League is the best one
"There are occasions when you have to ask yourself whether certain players are affecting the dressing-room atmosphere, the performance of the team and your control of the players and staff. If they are, you have to cut the cord.
"There is absolutely no other way. It doesn't matter if the person is the best player in the world. The long-term view of the club is more important than any individual and the manager has to be the most important one in the club "
This group looks really fine. Manchester are favorites of getting the 1st place. Still, this will be very tricky and hard for some of the teams here. There will probably be a big fight for the 2nd place between Leverkusen, Sociedad and Shakhtar. But this race won't be so easy for Man.U too. Shakhtar was able to beat Chelsea, draw against Juventus last year, and pass the group stage, so I wouldn't say that they will probably finish in last place. 3rd or 2nd place will probably be for them. I don't see Real Sociedad bringing much surprises. So my prediction overall is 1-Man.United 2-Leverkusen 3-Shakhtar 4-Real Sociedad

Curious to see Galatasaray against Real Madrid again. Also, Juve against Real will bring good actions. Kobenhavn's best chance to win can be against Gala, still hard for such a squand. Real has faced Galatasaray in the last CL quarters. Real are looking for a 10'th CL cup this time, with Ancheloti and Bale expected to give us some cool stuff for Real. Juve trying to improve, as they lost easily against Bayern in the quarters last season. My prediction here would be: 1-Real Madrid 2-Juventus 3-Galatasaray 4-Kobenhavn

PSG will be the leaders here. Benfica were the finalists of the Europa League last season, so there will be a good match against PSG and other teams. Anderlecht have more experience in this competition than Olympiacos, even if they're not successful. These two teams will end up fighting for the 3rd place, but probably Anderlecht will take it. Overall, this is how it ends: 1-PSG 2-Benfica 3-Anderlecht 4-Olympiacos

Here we got Europe's champions, Bayern Munich. Bayern and Man.City have already been facing each other in the friendly Audi Cup final, where Bayern won 2-1. And they've been in the same group 2 years ago, where the first match was a 2-0 win for Bayern and the second one was 2-0 win for Man.City. These two teams will probably get the first two places in this group. Plzen and Moskva can surprise us. They are both very dangerous teams, especially the Russians, CSKA Moskva. 3rd and 4th place got hard to predict, but here is my final thought: 1-Bayern 2-Man.City 3-Plzen 4-CSKA Moskva

Both, Basel and Steau faced Chelsea in the Europa League last season. Especially Basel, they had a match with Chelsea in the semi-finals and Chelsea won both matches. Schalke was part of the Champions, and was able to pass the group stages, with a harder group. So, I think they can do the same again. They've improved a lot, and got a good transfer (Kevin-Prince Boateng). My prediction: 1-Chelsea 2-Schalke 3-Basel 4-Steau

Dortmund were last season's finalists, and they still got power and faith to go to that level again. I expect a lot from these guys. Arsenal are improving and got the highlighted transfer, Mesut Ozil! They will also bring cool football, probably. Napoli got Benitez and Higuain now, so they have chances to get good place. Marseille also might be looking forward to bring something good. I call this group, the perfect mix. They bring really good matches, good football. My prediction for this group: 1-Dortmund 2-Arsenal 3-Napoli 4-Marseille

Atletico are having good days. Got David Villa on the squand, and will probably be the leaders here. As they held the Europa League 2011/2012 trophy in their hands, now they should be a dangerous team for other big clubs. Porto and Zenit are almost in the same levels and it will be a strong match between these two. Austria Wien should try to get some points before being a free points shop for the group. My prediction: 1-Atletico 2-Porto 3-Zenit 4-Austria Wien

Barca and Milan have been facing each other for years now, and Barca were dominant usually. Celtic gave a good performance last season being able to beat Barca 2-1 and passing the group stage successfuly. Ajax was in a hard group, but as a team they didn't finish that bad. They took the 3rd place beating Man.City and leaving them in the wort position. Barca and Ajax have never faced each other (with what I remember) so this match looks new. Overall here is my prediction: 1-Barcelona 2-Milan 3-Ajax 4-Celtic
