What if I told Lampard is one of favorites, and is the 2nd best midfield in the history of the premiership just behind Gerrard IMPO.
The only reason we'd ever taunt Frankie is because of the rivalry with Stevie.
The two best footballers in the country playing for biggest rivals (at the time).

Lampard is only better at scoring, because he had quality teammates, in a 4-3-3 open triangle midfield. Compared to Gerrard who played with mediocre teammates in 4-4-2 flat midfield. Lampard used to have much much more freedom than Gerrard.

The only proper teammates Gerrard ever had were Owen, Carragher, Xabi, Mascherano, Torres and Suarez, in his 17 years career. I don't need to list the players Lampard played with.

When you compare other qualities: passing, vision, awareness, tackling, shooting, creativity, leadership, workrates... Gerrard is better.
