Screw the quiz don't feel like reading. I ran you through the key points and you understood them. I'll continue your technique training.

First thing's first, let me explain to you how I teach if you're not already familiar. I don't use traditional training through ranks. I list my jutsu based on the criteria of; the similar traits. I group the techniques based on similar qualities that way I can explain to you the general and specific qualities within that method instead of teaching you jutsu after jutsu tediously and going through the same information. I divide the jutsu up into five categories for genjutsu

Genjutsu Kai
Paralysis/Movement Restriction Techniques
Deceptive Techniques
Concealing Techniques
Hypnotic Techniques

I teach genjutsu kai separately because it's not actually a genjutsu but the defense mechanism to it. The other methods I will explain to you them, in depth before getting into teaching them to you.

Alright then we'll start there. I'm sure you've talked about the ways to release genjutsu, I mean you even answered it up there in my test...I think I can't remember it's 3am when I'm writing this.

Anyway what you do for kai is essentially forcing out the foreign chakra in your body by first slowing down your natural flow of chakra (which includes the foreign entity that is causing the disruption) and then spiking it in an internal burst forcing the foreign chakra out and re-establishing your natural flow of spiritual and physical energies. This will require you to perform a hand seal as a medium to generate some pull. I'll have you start by attempting the technique without me using a genjutsu. Instead of focusing your chakra outward as you would do for a ninjutsu keep your chakra internal. Give it a try

Yeah we went over the ways in which to dispel Genjutsu

I would start by forming the hand seal in order to help me focus, allowing me to manipulate my chakra and slow it down to the point which would give me enough "space" to create a large enough surge within my body by suddenly spiking my chakra (gathering a large amount od chakra throughout my body) in order to flush out the foreign chakra

Very good, now then I'm going to induce a genjutsu on you. Keep in mind that Kai is dependent on the strength of the genjutsu you're on; therefore the amount of chakra you have to use is different as well. In kai you will always need to slow down your chakra flow before spiking it, however the amount you have to expend for the spike will vary from small, moderate, to considerable.

I make a sequence of quick handseals and induce a genjutsu where several vines sprout up from beneath you binding you body and limbs and lifting you up into the air. They bind and restrain you from movement.

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

Your hands are kept together so you should be able to perform Kai on this type of genjutsu. Try it now.

As you would form the hand seals and disappear, causing vines to start protruding from the ground to restrict my movement by binding me, I would stay calm and access the situation, firstly after you formed the hand seals, you suddenly disappeared which isn't a normal trait, something not a lot of shinobi can do, secondly the vines are closely related to Wood Release, something only the 1st Hokage and Yamato (excluding Madara and Obito lol) are capable of and thirdly, you suddenly appear inside the pod which would rise up from the ground after you had disappeared into thin air, the only rational explanation would be that you in fact placed me in a Genjutsu. I would close my eyes and using the fact that my hands are together even though my movement is restricted, I take advantage of this fact by focusing on my chakra, manipulating it by slowing down the flow of chakra within my body before suddenly making my chakra surge (gathering chakra throughout my body and it would be a moderate surge), allowing me to expel the foreign chakra from within my body and releasing me from the Genjutsu.

That's a fair justification although you didn't need it since I...told you I'd be putting you in a genjutsu <.< Anyway. Keep in mind that vines aren't automatically associated with Wood Release. The perfect give away to this technique is the disappearance which is trademarked in most genjutsu. However with subtle actions in role play, one can make even seemingly obvious genjutsu appear as though they are nothing more than ninjutsu. When we get into the battle training portion of everything I'll explain more about it. For now we'll just focus on learning some more techniques.

As of this point you've officially learned genjutsu kai <insert jutsu from jutsu list here>

Now then, as for the next four parts I'm leaving the decision up to you as to which method you'd like to learn first. The only thing I will not teach you first are the hypnotic techniques. You can choose between:

Paralysis
Deceptive
Concealing

whichever one you want to learn first.

Alright then, deceptive is somewhat blanket since all genjutsu are "deceptive" however specifically with this method it refers to techniques that create a happening that would have your opponent react in a certain way or at the very least would suggest they act in a certain way in accordance to the jutsu. How this differs from the other canon methods is as follows;

vs. Paralysis/Restrictive techniques: These are tailored to movement restriction to prevent your opponent from casting kai and/or to make their movements against your follow up techniques extremely difficult. The aim of these techniques do not always place the highest emphasis on discretion and low probability of being a genjutsu more so than simply creating that lapse in reaction so you can end them swiftly.

vs. Concealing techniques: These are probably the closest to deceptive techniques or can even be seen as synonymous in some techniques in the canon. However, these techniques are not targeted to making your opponent react a certain way in response rather merely distract them and hide your position to allow you to escape harm or create blind spots to attack.

vs. Hypnotic Techniques: Easily put these techniques are designed to take control of your opponents state of consciousness and will. These techniques are probably the furthest from any of the other genjutsu methods.

Genjutsu deception techniques are techniques like: creating the illusion of a jutsu but said jutsu doesn't actually exist. This would ordinarily suggest a response with another jutsu and you as the user tailor your next technique anticipating what type of technique to use so that you could use the advantageous jutsu.

Make sense?

Great. Next order of business is how to make your genjutsu even more tricky and emphasize their deceptive qualities. What I'm about to tell you does not only apply to these types of techniques but to all sorts of genjutsu. In-character monologue. Talking never affects the timeframe but it doesn't mean it doesn't have any affect in the battle at all. Throughout the series we've heard shinobi shout the names of their techniques. It's a shonen, of course they're going to shout the name of their techniques.

One way to disguise your genjutsu or at least, make it harder to detect unless you have metagamers, is to call the name of your technique and conceal the genjutsu as a ninjutsu. If you're going to create a series of vines from the ground to bind your opponent? "Earth Release!" If you're going to have a swarm of snakes constrict your opponent "Summoning Jutsu!" of course you can be more or less creative. It works on some techniques better than others. Some techniques are blatantly obviously genjutsu others are not. However in these types of techniques they should work a lot of the time.

Small Quiz for you, there are a few techniques where, if you have a certain bio attached to it makes casting those techniques much easier without your opponent immediately realizing they're genjutsu. Specifically speaking, Hashirama and Yamato bios. I want you to give me at least 3 techniques from the canon genjutsu list that, if either one of those bios used, it would be hard to determine that it's a genjutsu and tell me why

I'm really sorry for the late reply

1ST JUTSU

2ND JUTSU

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

3RD JUTSU

( Genjutsu: Hanaoka ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Hill
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons up illusionary purple flowers from the ground in front of them, damaging enemies with a chance to paralyze them.
Note: Paralysis lasts one turn.

I chose the 1st and 2nd jutsu because, well they're similar to each other, except for the fact that 1 binds your opponent with vines and the other binds them with trees(wood), which brings me to the 3rd jutsu. I chose it because as we saw in the anime, Madara used a Mokuton jutsu which sprouted flowers all around the battlefield and contained a paralyzing gas that if left for too long, would render your opponent paralyzed and unable to move, pretty similar to the Genjutsu. Coming back to the 1st jutsu, i chose it because as I explained for the 3rd jutsu, we have seen Mokuton usage which not only produces Wood, but plant life as well.

Very good, first one to get 100% on any quiz I gave. Granted this one wasn't really hard.

Now, for the first pair of techniques I'm going to teach you of this method we'll return to genjutsu layering. The very first technique of this method is going to be a layer genjutsu, which is just using the same technique twice in this case. The False Surroundings and Double False surroundings are what I am speaking of. The former merely being a technique that changes the opponent's perception of the environment and the latter being a double layer of that. You don't change how things sound, feel or smell with these techniques, primarily the way they appear.

Try casting such a jutsu onto me that would change a standard forest into another type of terrain.

I assumed you meant that I should use the double layered Genjutsu instead of the regular Genjutsu because I already learned the regular 1. I apologize in advance if I did it wrong >_>

After observing my surroundings and taking note of your position, I weave 3 quick handseals while simultaneously kneading my chakra within my body. Once I have gathered a sufficient amount of chakra, I would proceed to release it towards you and force it into your brain, placing you in a double layered Genjutsu which allows me to manipulate the way you see things. Aiming to take advantage of this, I alter the terrain by first turning it into a lake with plenty of tress surrounding us and in case you break free of it, it would be followed up by another terrain which consists of multiple pits of mud and towering trees which have no leaves, almost as if it was a barren wasteland.

No, I meant for you to do the first one, I forgot you had learned the base technique first. Nevertheless, you're good with those techniques. Your next set of techniques are the mist servant based techniques. Basically these are the creation of clones/copies of yourself through illusion. There are three techniques; the first one is just a collection of illusionary clones designed to fool the non-dojutsu user in order. Typically you use wide area affecting techniques if you don't automatically know you're in a genjutsu or you don't feel like breaking out of the genjutsu itself (wasting a move or wasting time, etc).

Second technique is where you disguise an object as a clone of yourself, specifically a paper bomb. It will appear to be a clone advancing toward you and then you detonate it when it gets close. Typically good after you've disappeared or moved out of the line of sight and then re-appear suddenly, your opponent would likely think it's you (similar to shadow clone explosion technique although arguably less effective). You could also layer this with the first technique above and make one of the clones real and this will confused your opponent enough so that they will not know which one is you and not expect an explosion hidden in there.

Finally the last one is a combination of deceptive and concealing as the jutsu starts off the same way as the latter technique above, however when it explodes the explosion is an illusion and the clone disperses into a field of flowers to blind your opponent.
__________

Now then You're going to layer each of these tecniques onto me at once, starting with the last technique I said. First thing you'll need to do is create a clone of yourself that is designed to explode into a field of flowers to cloud my vision when it gets close, then you will want to create either several clones at once followed by disguising a paper bomb as a clone, that will explode when it gets near me or create the bomb clone first and then the field of clones.

From there I want you to execute a combination that you think would best trap me and get the better of me. This is assuming I let you create all three techniques. Go
