They're not Toys! They're action figures!

lel jk jk

I did use those Bionicles tho when I was younger. Actually, I made stop-motion films with them, was a great time xD
:lmao: Haven't heard that in a while.
Same with my old toys all 6 of themU_U But stop motion takes a lot of work I'm surprised that a kid or teen would be willing to go through all that excruciating work just for a short film that only a small group of people will watch. Respect.

Thank you for the compliment! And yeah it was really tiring, I'd literally spend days (only taking pauses to eat) taking pictures of them on my old Sony Ericson. In fact, I think I still have some of those but I have no idea where they're at. It's been ages since I've last seen them. xd

what legit? lmao gotta check it out then XD
Yeah! Trust me, I'm a long time BIONICLE fan, the maku part is a first set Matoran model, the Gali Nuva and Bohroks are all second waves, heck if I had enough money right now I'd buy them personally!

Oh, well I could hardly be a fan of Nietzsche as his doctrines were totally nihilistic but I must say I find his famous "God is dead" story really epic.
Well, the books I have neither claim God to be alive nor dead... there's just methods with logical explanation if the reader wants to find out whether God exists or not XD

Well, Nietzsche was an atheist. The "God is dead" thing I was reffering to wasn't an actual book but an illustration he mentioned about the consequences of there being no God. It really fascinates me how well written it is. Here's the excerpt:

"Have you not heard of that madman who lit a lantern in the bright morning hours, ran to the market-place, and cried incessantly: "I am looking for God! I am looking for God!"
As many of those who did not believe in God were standing together there, he excited considerable laughter. Have you lost him, then? said one. Did he lose his way like a child? said another. Or is he hiding? Is he afraid of us? Has he gone on a voyage? or emigrated? Thus they shouted and laughed. The madman sprang into their midst and pierced them with his glances.

"Where has God gone?" he cried. "I shall tell you. We have killed him - you and I. We are his murderers. But how have we done this? How were we able to drink up the sea? Who gave us the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? What did we do when we unchained the earth from its sun? Whither is it moving now? Whither are we moving now? Away from all suns? Are we not perpetually falling? Backward, sideward, forward, in all directions? Is there any up or down left? Are we not straying as through an infinite nothing? Do we not feel the breath of empty space? Has it not become colder? Is it not more and more night coming on all the time? Must not lanterns be lit in the morning? Do we not hear anything yet of the noise of the gravediggers who are burying God? Do we not smell anything yet of God's decomposition? Gods too decompose. God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we, murderers of all murderers, console ourselves? "

Welp now I know what I'll be doing when I get home XD
Good luck! xD

this is what made me fall in love though and didnt notice till after i got it. if i were to stab something on the ground, theres a face of a samurai warrior, on the otherside the person getting killed and looking up would see a peaceful Japanese garden so cool to me, probably wont ever get to use that feature though

I still have my Yu-Gi-Oh deck from back when I used to collect them as a kid when the first booster packs came out in the early 2000s in the UK – I have Tri-Horned, the 000 ultra-rare from the legend of blue eyes pack (it was my very first ultra-rare), the ultra-rare version of mirror force, dark magician girl (ultra-rare from a booster pack), among a few other ultra-rares.

I would’ve taken a photo of the Yugioh deck for you but I left it back in London.

Aside from that I also own a library of antique, out of print and first-edition texts (including all the classics of western philosophy, history and science), which I’ve mostly inherited from my grandfather and old man.

Oooh Tri-Horned? Nice! I wish I had the chance to collect the Legend of Blue-Eyes sets. They weren't around when I started collecting them. :/

Oh and I love to hear that people have a library. :3 Too bad I'm stuck with PDF's lol

it was about 250USD which is really pricey but ive always wanted one and finally found one, i had too lol thanks though, your collections is cool too
250? Hmmm, well that isn't really that much tho. I've read that Katanas can easily go over 12k. Maybe it's not a shinken? Still awesome tho.

Well, I guess he's addressing to the fact that God is alive on in the beliefs of people; so when people stop believing in God, God is dead?

All our knowledge is based upon experience. What we call
inferential knowledge, in which we go from the less general
to the more general, or from the general to the particular, has
experience as its basis. In what are called the exact sciences,
people easily find the truth, because it appeals to the
particular experience of every human being. The scientist
does not tell you to believe in anything, but he has certain
results which come from his own experiences, and reasoning
on those experiences, when he asks us to believe in his
conclusions, he appeals to some universal experience of
humanity. In every exact science there is a universal basis
which is common to all humanity, so that we can at once see
the truth of the fallacy of the conclusions drawn therefrom.
Now, the question is, has religion any such basis or not? I
shall have to answer the question both in the affirmative and
in the negative. Religion, as it is generally taught all over
the world, is said to be based on faith and belief, and, in
most cases, consists only of different sets of theories, and
that is the reason why we find all these various religions
quarrelling with each other. These theories, again, are based
on belief. One man says there is a great Being sitting above
the clouds and governing the whole universe, and he askes
me to believe that, solely on the authority of his assertion. In
the same way I may have my own ideas, which I am asking
others to believe, and if they ask a reason, I cannot supply
them with any. This is why religion and metaphysical
philosophy have a bad name nowadays. Every educated
man seems to say: “Oh, these religions are only bundles of
theories without any standard to judge them by, each man
preaching his own pet ideas.” At the same time I must tell
you that there is a basis of universal belief in religion,
governing all these different theories, and all the varying
ideas of different sects of men in different countries. Going
to the basis of them we find that they also are based upon
universal experiences.

The meaning would not be very clear from reading the first time because it was translated from another language; but still it's legible.

Lol having a Katana collection sounds pretty cool, I'm not sure how much they go for, but I'm assuming fairly expensive, I would think you would need to be a pretty serious and committed collector to be into this
