LOOKS
Gauche is a lean built man of average size, considered to be handsome by many. His smoke-white hair is usually messy, with the strands flying everywhere. His lavender coloured eyes were once kind and warm, but now they look cold and emotionless. He also has a noticeable scar on the right side of his face in the shape of a line, which was given to him by another ninja during a fight. Gauche usually wears a cap-like ornament on his head with belts around it, allowing some of his hair to come onto the middle of his forehead, with the rest framing the sides of his face. The Surgebinder likes to dress heavily, usually wearing a cape, with the part around his neck bunched up and secured with belts.

PERSONALITY
Once a very kind and happy man, Gauche is now very serious, showing little emotion. He is not close to anyone, and so does not care for anyone. Perhaps this is a result of the memory loss via the brain damage he sustained a few years ago. Unable to be recovered, the loss of memories altered Gauche's personality completely, so much so that he refuses to go by the name 'Gauche' anymore. These days, the troubled man calls himself 'Noir', in an attempt to reject his past, forgotten self. People that knew him before his change tried to stay with Gauche for some time and reson with him. However, once it was evident that 'Gauche' was not coming back, they eventually left him, leaving him with no more friends.

BACKGROUND INFO
Gauche was born in the Great Wind Desert to a kunoichi. His father had left before he was even born, and Gauche's mother never talked about him, so Gauche knew nothing about him. Growing up, Gauche and his mother lived peacefully in a little village. There, the boy thrived, going to the Academy and learning various ninja skills. Since his mother was a prominent ninja in the area, he also learnt many things from her. Gauche was a sweet boy who loved everyone around him. Although he was not the smartest nor the strongest ninja in training, the enthusiastic Gauche would make the most of every day.
When he was just 6 years old, however, Gauche's mother passed away after giving birth to his little sister from another father. After her death, the grieving child was left all alone, as the father of his sister took her away to raise, leaving him. He did not want anything to do with Gauche. And so the young Gauche stayed with an understanding elder from his village for the next few years. Not wanting to impose any longer though, a 12 year old Gauche, now a capable ninja, decided to leave home. He travelled all around the world, meeting and helping many new people. One thing he grew quite fond of was carrying letters for people. He did this out of pure goodwill, believing that it was very important to deliver a person's 'heart' to another person. He took this new job of his seriously, which in turn gave him the opportunity to travel even more. He even learnt medical techniques from some people, using it to heal injured people.
During his travels, Gauche would occasionally meet people who seemed to be glowing sometimes, and when he talked to them, he learnt that they were a group of people who spread good in the world, keeping peace wherever they went. Liking their ideals, and finding them to be similar to that of his own, the young ninja purposefully started going out of his way to bump into more members of this particular group. They got to know him, and eventually, they took the keen 15 year old ninja to their base to meet the leader. There, Gauche was initiated into their group, which he now knew was known as a clan. Starting off as a new member, Gauche eventually grew stronger under their guidance, and he went around the world spreading good, saving as many people as he could.
After having been part of the Surgebinders for a while, things became tense as some of the members had a change of mind and wanted to abandon the order. Gauche himself was not happy with the things that were happening around the world that affected them, and so he understood them, but he did not exactly agree with what they were doing. Even when some of them abandoned the order, Gauche kept to the clan, following his role. However, one day, whilst out on a mission, Gauche was attacked by surprise from some evil people who wanted to demolish the Surgebinders. These people did not want any good in the world; they only wanted to spread evil. This encounter gave the young ninja a brain injury. When he came to, he found himself in a dark underground cave. Sitting up, he winced from pain, before falling back down on the bed he lay on. Who was he, and where was he? His head was throbbing, and was covered in bandages, as was his chest. Clearly, he had sustained multiple injuries. He then heard a shuffling in the corner of the room. An old man was sitting on a chair, and had now just gotten up. He approached Gauche and stopped a metre away, studying the ninja. After some conversing, the man established that Gauche had lost his memories. His personality also appeared to have become altered; opposite to what it had been before. Exactly as the man had planned. The hard blow had hit the correct area. Now he could mold the ninja into whom he wanted.
Gauche had even forgotten his own name, and the evil man told him his name was now 'Noir', before brainwashing him. Telling him lies about the ideals of the Surgebinders, the mysterious man influenced Gauche to believe that what the Surgebinders were doing was not beneficial to the world. But of course, he had to first remind Gauche that it was a clan, and that he was in it, since he had forgotten. Now a different person, Gauche believed the man, accepting his new name. In that moment, the changed ninja also severed emotional ties with the rest of the world, not caring about anyone anymore. He lived only for himself now. Forgotten to him were all the good deeds he had done prior to this. He was now like an empty shell, not having a real purpose in life. Eventually, he did manage to find his way back to the base, as a different man though. Now apathetic to Galahad's cause, Gauche travelled the world without emotion, not caring about anyone or anything. He only just lived...

Elemental Gauche is extremely proficient in the use of Lightning, allowing him to become a Single Handseal Specialist in the field. This means he can perform all lightning techniques with just one hand seal, and perform specific techniques. | Ninja Arts Gauche is a Genjutsu Casting Specialist, able to cast illusions with only one had seal. He is also a Genjutsu Layering Specialist, having the ability to layer illusions in one timeframe. Finally, he also specialises in Medical Ninjutsu, gaining any perks from it. |
Medical Ninjutsu: During his time travelling the world, Gauche met many people. From some of them, the young ninja learnt many medical techniques, eventually becoming proficient enough to use the art to heal people, as well as specialise in it. However, after the man changed, he stopped using this ability to heal others. Instead, he would only selfishly use it to heal himself, not caring about anyone else.
Fūinjutsu: After losing his memories, Gauche was taught the Sealing Arts by a mysterious man, for reasons unknown to him. He has a seal placed on his stomach, which is set to activate should he die.

Barnacles: Discovering this summoning contract by meeting the owner during his travels, Gauche signed the contract under the owner's guidance, granting him the ability to summon barnacles whenever he wants. He possesses a tattoo on the underside of his right arm, in between his wrist and elbow.

Description:
The user will perform one handseal and summon what seems to be a generic Acorn Barnacle about they size of a coin in their hand, this isn't a summon and just a barnacle art that the user can use. The user can throw this Acorn Barnacle onto a target and it will permanently bind to it as long as it is solid (Person, Summon, Rock etc), the Gadget Barnacle has a number of effects and can only use one.
Source-cle
This Barnacle is used to bring up sources that may be needed depending on the user and their abilities. For example if the user is a water user then the source-cle will be thrown and it will release a puddle of water that will splash on the ground (can also be used as a C-rank water defence). Also creates an Ink Source if needed, (Puddle of Ink) or a source for Dark Release; The shell is gripped in the palm of the user's hand and the chakra is absorbed straight into the user capable of utilising one Dark Technique with it. Creates a Flame from the opening of the shell if that is a required source (Makeshift Lighter), can be used as a Mist Bomb which creates a small veil big enough to hide a couple of persons.
Spider-cle
Six tendrils will act as legs from the Shell and be able to move around, capable of carrying an item like a Shuriken or Kunai, Scroll or a Message (For RP use in the Ninja World) in a couple of their tendrils whilst the other four are used to move around. The Spider however is also a Bomb, is basically an explosive device that can be exploded at any time, before sticking to a target or after it. It creates a C-Rank explosion with a radius of 2 meters, the explosion isn't enough to kill and only blow the opponent away and cause minor burns. It can either be a Flame Explosion, Wind, or Lightning. The spider-cle moves at the same as their user's base speed.
Weapon-cle
The Acorn Barnacle actually becomes a powerful transformation, taking the shape of a weapon of the user's choosing. They can withstand up to C-Rank Elements before breaking, the barnacle can transform into a pair of weapons splitting the rank into D-Rank each.
Corrupt-cle
The Acorn Barnacle will be thrown at the ground where it will attach to it permanently with it's natural ability too, through this natural ability they have gained a knowledge and sort of affinity to earth of sorts. So the Earth is taken control by the barnacle and they will manipulate it into a 2 foot earth golem, it is capable of communication with the user and attacking with it's mouth and fists - like the Bomb-cle this acts like a C-Rank earth technique.
- These don't have to be summoned, they can already be on the user if stated in the bio.
- Body of the Thoracica and Legs of the Thoracica can be used through a Gadget Barnacle
- Barnacle Community Summons like "Oregon", "Barbaracle" can use Gadget Barnacles from their body.

Description:
This technique is only accessible by those who have signed the Barnacle Contract and it utilises Barnacle Larvae that will live within the body, under the skin of the signer. These Larvae can do various things that modify and change the user's body but not to a significant degree, it is a way of adding things to create a variety of options and weapons it also allows for unique cosmetic looks that break certain human like boundaries but not to a huge degree. The Larvae can grow various tools from the user's body into their hand or can have it so the shell simply protrudes from their skin, for example they can grow a couple of calcite shell shuriken/shuriken into the palm of their hand or have Horns grow from their forehead as a new way to melee; or even grow claws from between their knuckles to assist with their punches. Tools created this way will be made out of Calcite Shell laced with Tendrils, meaning they can be the source of follow up Legs/Body of the Thoracica Jutsu however act as normal tools before these jutsu are used. The creation of normal tools like this is passive and counts as freeform, acting as a new way to use an arsenal of ninja tool. Because these Larvae are one with the user they change their skin so that is similar to Barnacle Flesh which allows them to reseal broken skin when tools are made from the user's body, it also allows the larvae to use "Legs of the Thoracica" from the user's very body, however creating extra hands does not allow the user to make hand seals with them. This in no way can be used to heal the user from incoming damage, it can be used to reseal cuts, but the internal damage is still done and is just a way to stop further bleeding, nerves, tendons. organs and everything within the body is still damaged except the skin. Larvae can use Gadget Barnacle from the user's body capable of launching it from a hand for example and even capable of infusing the user with Organs of the Thoracica.
Like with Zombies, the Restrictions of the Barnacle Arts when the Larvae use them apply to them separately as they can act alone with it's own abilities, their number of usages of an Art will not clash with the Users. Because of their limited amount of abilities the use-age of Legs of the Thoracica and Body of the Thoracica gain a rank, but only when the Larvae use them. Stated in the signer's bio there can be various cosmetic applications already active to change the appearance, like horns or spikes protruding off certain points of the body or elongated nails made from shell even a tail made of Barnacle Tendril flesh or tendrils intertwined within the hair, capped sharp teeth or a longer tongue and even if you so wish - pointy ears. Making modifications to the user's body is unranked (Unless Jutsu are used instead ofcourse) and can be done freeform and is limited to the user's creativity.
