This all depends on where you are reading this from, but why do people go crazy trying to save 3-4 cent a gallon?
I just had a cousin post on FB about getting gas for 1.79 a gallon. The catch, that she didn't seem to get, is that she had to buy a carwash which cost her $8. she saved 20 cents per gallon and got 11 gallons. That's saving $2.20. But she paid $8 first so she lost $5.80 rather than saving anything. Why do people fall for this and then go brag about it like they did something awesome by "saving" money? You didn't save anything you lost more than you would have paying the additional $.20 per gallon.
