garra vs kisame with samehada

His water techniques seem like they would do well against sand, plus whenever the sand got close enough to Kisame Gaara's chakra would be drained from it, turning it into normal sand Gaara can't control unless he puts more chakra into it. So Gaara's sand techniques would be almost useless against Kisame.

kisame since he has more chakra can steal gaaras and heall himself. water also beats sand and kisame defeated bee and the 4-tailed jinchuriki all by himself he is an expert at this.

Yeah, I agree. Kisame gains 2 advantages. Samehada absorbs chakra from Gaara's sand and his Water style is well-suited against Gaara. Nevertheless, Gaara has his chances like I doubt Samehada will absorb all chakra in a Sand Tsunami in one-shot.
Gaara is heck strong but Kisame is a bad match for him though I believe he'll put up a good fight but ends up losing.

no offense but this has to be the stupidest thread ever. isnt it obvious kaara could never beat a water style person. jus cuz he is a kage doesnt mean he is one of the most powerful. i bet all the original akatsuki members could beat him. all he has is sand ninjutsu. aara isnt impressive at all. kisame wins with his waterdome jutsu

Kisame for me. Gaara's awesome, but Samehada would absorb his ultimate chakra infused Sand, would he not?

And water turns sand into mud, so that's kinda useless. Kisame wins, but it'd be an awesome match.
