gara vs minato

Sand ball is too overrated
1) Deidara destroyed the ball with explosions
2) 2 random sand ninja destroyed it with simple water
3) Second mizukage easy destroyed it with his oil-water body
4) 4th destroyed it with his gold dust
There r much more counters to sand shield and i dont know any for FTG
U cant comporate Gaara who didnt won all his fight to a hokage who never lost

If this fight is anywhere other than a desert, Gaara would get curb-stomped. This coming from someone whose profile name is Gaara spelled backwords. He wouldn't have time to make much more sand with against Minato's speed.
The only way Gaara would have a good shot in a non-desert arena would be if he went air-bourne immediately before Minato could close the distance. Minato has shown no long range jutsu and just throwing tagged kunai into the air would be easily blocked by Gaara's sand, so Minato would have no way to get to Gaara before he made a huge amount of sand to even the fight.
Regardless, under most conditions Minato would beat Gaara.

Rasengan cannot break Gaara's defense! Can't even come close, it can withstand Raikage's attacks and amatarasu with like inches thick of sand and it can withstand building collapsing easily! So how can rasengan break it, especially when hes in the air with a very thick layer of sand around him??
wtf? anyways that was Gaara back at the exams and now his sand is WAYYYY Faster. It blocked an instant amatarasu easily!!

This is what I think. Although I don't really see anyway Minato wud win this, I think he can figure it out. HE cud place a seal on Gaara while he doesn't know somehow because he is a genius kage and called the most amazing yellow FLASH for a reason.

As much as I like Minato and I am not much of a Gaara fan. I don't think its hard telling I am much more of a Minato fan. But still I have to admit Gaara finished off people standing there and I don't see how Minato wud win even tho I def like him more.

Sadly for Gaara, it has been revealed that oily water can seep through and destroy his sand and guess what Bunta has a stomach full of? Oil. So that can counter sand and Minato can have Bunta leap to Gaara's ball of sand and oil the crap out of it and Bunta can oil incoming sand attacks and when he cant, Minato can use ST barrier to send them away, Gaara will waste attacks and chakra and will be defeated eventually.
