[VS] Gai vs Tsunade

Morning Peacock would not only fail to put Tsunade down but could potentially backfire as Tsunade did literally knock away Madara's Katon.
Daytime Tiger too wouldn't be very effective. It is literally just air pressure. If we recall, the air pressure from Mabui's Heavenly Transfer was supposed to rip Tsunade to shreds like it had done to people prior to her. Thus, I hold that Tsunade will be able to handle daytime tiger in a way similar to which she handled Heavenly Transfer
Beyond that, Tsunade is completely possible of avoiding those techniques all together. When Gai uses either of those techniques he's a stationary fighter aiming at a stationary target but considering Tsunade ability to leap great distances she could sure leap out of the pathway of Daytime Tiger and at the very least present a moving target for Morning Peacock. Meanwhile while Gai is singularly aiming to take Tsunade out Katsuyu could easily acid snipe from behind.
And in CQC, we've only seen her taking someone on once in part one. But, even then her style was not sloppy as people like to claim it was. Her balance, agility, strength, and technique were all there. We've seen more of Gai fighting than Tsunade. But I find this claim that Gai will just easily snap Tsunade's neck to be a joke. Considering she took Madara's Yasaka Magatamas like a boss and had her body thrown threw several layers of stone and was just fine.
What's essentially happening when we talk about Tsunade and Gai going toe to toe in taijutsu is a slower heavyweight boxer going against a really fast lightweight boxer. Sure the lightweight boxer can get a lot of blows in but they won't be significant enough to put down the heavyweight, whereas a single clean shot from the heavy weight can end the fight. And it really is an eventuality.
Tsunade often gets criticized about being a linear fighter, but Gai is an extremely linear fighter. And with Tsunade's reaction feats that alone would cause problems for Gai. Add in the fact that even if Tsunade doesn't get a clean hit off Gai, even a minor one would greatly disturb his ability to perform. Then throw in the fact that with any contact Tsunade makes with Gai she could just send Ranshinsho surging through his body. Additionally, in this fight Gai's bread and butter is his speed but we've seen characters not immune to falling on their faces.
Thus, I posit that by manipulating her surroundings with her destructive strength she can force Gai to slow down and move more cautiously. Beyond that Gai hardly ever resorts directly to using the Gates.
Base Gai stands no chance against Tsunade, by the time he finds out she has super human strength he'd be dead. Not too mention the other tricks she has in her bag.

Tsunade has been in how many 1vs 1 battles for you to make such a claim?
Gai isn't going to know Tsunade could survive a normally fatal wound.
Directly after removing Susanoo sword from her abdomen she proceeded to attack Mandara, ergo she can fight through pain.
Saying Katsuyu would be immediately dehydrated is foolish. Take a lighter to a slug and it won't immediately begin to dry out because of it's protective slime on the top of it's body I doubt that Asa kujaku last long enough to dehydrate Katsuyu and even if it can he's an open target for Tsunade whilst focusing on Katsuyu. The difference between Kisame's Sharks and Katsuyu is that those sharks are part of a water style jutsu in other words its akin to a mizubunshin or kagebunshins who can only take x amount od damage before they disperse.

She was able to avoid Jiraiya's Juubi sized Katon. I'm not saying she can dodge the Hirudora, but she can dodge the Asakujaku by jumping above the attack and ending Guy with a Heavenly Kick of Pain.
Jiraiya was aiming for killing Tsunade amirite?

How can Tsunade dodge a strike that is so fast that it can crate flames out of friction? Asakujaku is not a katon tech, it is a highly fast physical attack.
Even part 1 4gated Lee was much faster than anything Tsunade shown to day, let alone adult 6th gate Gai.

No, but she still had to dodge the attack. Not to mention she was able to jump above the flames with Gamabunta's weapon.
The speed has nothing to do with this. Tsunade is a taijutsu fighter with good reflexes. She should be able to react in time and jump away.
Also keep in mind apparently Tsunade > the laws of the physics. Five dragon heads from Madara weren't able to knock her down to the ground while two dragon heads from Sasuke were able to demolish the roof. This means Guy's attack isn't stopping her from using the heavenly kick of pain.

No, it isn't. Gamabunta is only as big as the Juubi's head, that attack isn't larger enough than Bunta to be close to the Juubi's size.
