Gai Hes much more Green which strangely means he can summon grass out of his ass at 20000 miles an hour and that is much faster than the raikage apparently

raikage. gai can only open gates for short time whereas raikage can use his full strength for however long he wants. raikage can match gai's strength and speed when he opens all his gates. furthermore not even chidori was able to penetrate raikage's lightning armor so raikage should be able to handle the punches of gai in gates mode.

The Raikage (A), Guy might can open the 8 Gates but his body will get weaken. Guy speed might be stronger or on equal grounds with the Raikage (A), but the Raikage (A) has the Lightning Ninjutsu. Guy fighting him with Taijutsu alone is not enough.

Chidori had no affect on him however and, like Naruto, Sasuke has made Chidori his own, mastering it beyond its inventor (with the exception of Kakashi's Raikiri but I'm not sure if it's classed in the same catagory to be called chidori so idk)
On topic I voted Raikage and draw. If Gai does anything less then the eight gates he's gonna loose to A. If he uses eight gates he has a chance to kill him but if he can't in the short period of time he has the gates open for, he's the only one who will die. Either way if he opens the eight gates and kills A he's going to die shortly after.
