i know that the eighth gate gives the user power similiar to a kage but im just curious how long this gate can be opened for before the side effect occurs.
I voted hard battle but raikage because hes got kage level power until his chakra runs out, which i would think to be way longer then Gai could keep the gate open

Raikage (A) shud take this, not only is he more durable but he is also stronger. His speed shouldn't be a problem though at 8th gate, however Raikage's chakra is a lot higher than Guy's and Guy cannot keep 8th gate for long and will soon die with it.

Gai will need gates to stand anychance i doubt raikage will give him the time to do so. Eight gates=dead gai. 7th gates will not be enough.
