very difficult to answer. I will go with Gai with 6 gates open. The way he defeated Kisame the tailess tailed beast. I am in awe for him. So i go with gai.

If the 7th gate couldn't kill or even knock out a weak and skinny kisame, what do expect it to do against skin as hard as diamond?

Practically immortal in battle seeing as you have to kill him 5 times to beat him

Bottom line Gates are overrated, and kakazu would kill guy

He didn't activate Iron skin when kakashi got hem with rikiri... actually kakashi got him from a dead spot and he was analysing him so he find out about iron skin...
considering the intelligence of kakashi and considering he was watching the fight not fighting, he figured it out... but it takes too long for gui to find out cuz shikamaru didn't notice it too...

Gates aren't over-rated, as they have the speed to dodge Amaterasu, get past Gaara's ultimate defense. Also, i'd like to add that Gaara had never been touched before Rock Lee opened them and pwned his face.

One punch to the mask would shatter it. Seeing as the masks weren't able to successfully kill Kakashi, even when double/triple teaming him, they won't touch guy.

You're comparing base Kakashi, with Gai, who could probably defeated Kakashi in a taijutsu battle even without Gates. :|

When Kakazu sees Gai cross his arms on top of is head and say gate names

A shinobi who has been around since hashirama time knows what's about to happen

And again Skin as hard as diamond... Gai isn't damaging that,

If his best attack couldnt kill kisame, how would it get past iron skin?

And don't forget, kakazu has those thread like things in his body, thats how he almost killed kakashi before the plan worked and hidan accidently stabbed one of kakuzu hearts
