I think Naruto with Sage mode is better than Guy yes.

Guy would try to put up a fight against Itachi but there are only a few people who can actually delude themselves enough to think he would win. This fight would be about as tough as it was for Itachi vs. Kakashi and Kurenai and Asuma.

Remember when Itachi beat Oro in like 10 seconds? That is what I think would happen to Guy except he would have no way to regenerate lost limbs.

O nah, this question wasn't related to the topic, I just kinda thought that wasn't much difference between Gai (gates) and naruto (sage mode). I mean when Gai is in gates he is a monster everytine we see him and with monstrous chakra.

It seems obvious that you are vastly overestimating the capabilities of the eight gates. They increase his speed and power but neither have been shown to be very impressive in comparison to the top shinobi. Even with seven gates open he needed Bee to throw him to catch up to Kisame, even with a head start Guy should have been able to catch up to him in time but he didn't.

People give Guy too much credit, I mean if his strength was that impressive then he wouldn't have needed to go to the seventh gate just to beat a weak Kisame without Samehada.

The gates don't seem to be as much of a power boost as Sage mode or raiton armor but everyone thinks that it is.Everyone in Konoha knows that Guy uses the gates and taijutsu solely so they know what he is capable of, and they were never asking him to fight the big battles like they were Naruto or Kakashi.


Honestly if you would stack up Guy against pretty much anybody in the Naruto Universe than you are pretty much by definition a fanboy.

Minato, Nagato/Pain, Hiruzen, hashirama, Tobirama, Oro, Jiraiya, Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, Madara, A, Oonoki, Mizukage, maybe Kakashi, Kabuto, Yamato, Danzo, Kisame with Samehada, Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu, Mu, Bee, maybe Darui, and some other people I can't think of can all beat Guy.

Just had to respond, I'm just now seeing this. Although I still believe the Guy could beat Itachi with the 8th gate open. I have to take back that he would beat anyone in the series.... And it wasn't a jab at you when I said obvious you're not up to par I thought I put lol. But you do UNDERESTIMATE the 8 gates.

Guy would do awesome, but I just don't see him winning. I can see Itachi getting owned via the Gates, but with Susano'o to protect him from Major damage, Itachi wins in my opinion. It'd be an awesome match, but when it comes to a Genjutsu user and Taijutsu, it's always a odd matchup.

You obviously didn't understand my post. I know Tsukuyomi requires eye contact, I'm not an idiot. I said he has other genjutsu that does not require eye contact. Please make sure you have fully read someone's post before calling them out.

Itachi has other genjutsu than just Tsukuyomi, genjutsu that doesn't require eye contact.

Aside from that I don't think Guy has any attack capable of beating Itachi's Susanoo, and if he stand still long enough to use afternoon tiger then he would just get sealed by the Totsuka sword.

Plus Itachi has much more than his MS abilities, remember he managed to kill Shisui (who was considered the one of the two best of the Uchiha at that time) when Shisui was older and Itachi didn't have MS yet. He was amazing even before getting MS, good enough so that Oro wanted to have his body when they were both part of Konoha still. I don't remember when this was but Oro was watching Itachi train and was like "WTF?!! he is so young and such a boss, sharingan rules!!"

Bruh you in the stone age or something, itachi did'nt kill shisui, its actually funny to think their are people who think he did, on topic, I dont know why people think tsuki is the only genjutsu that itachi posesses, when the dude can use finger genjutsu as well as dusk crow genjutsu, the only way one can bypass itachis genjtsu is if he closes his eyes like kabuto did, completely shut down your eyes, if not as long as your eyes are open, you gon get caught, restrict genjutsu and itachi still rapes with susano amaterasu combo
