Gai vs. Amaterasu

Ignoring the fact that posting a scan of someone failing to dodge the technique hurts not helps your argument, Amaterasu is entirely dependent on the users ability to track the target. If he can evade Itachi's sight, then sure he can. With Sasuke, no he cannot.


Did you not see him following Juubito, the fastest person alive at that time? The same guy that outright blitzed Hashirma and Tobirama, the other fastest man alive, and gave even Naruto, the current fastest alive issues with following him? Or is that not a clear enough improvement? I answered your question. But I'll be clearer. Even being faster than Ay won't be enough to dodge unless Sasuke can't follow him with his eyes.

(Read the SFX above..it says movement ..meaning sasuke dodge the first couples shots as shown in the next page)..so all that helping your argument talk is not necessary because a weakened sasuke dodged amaterasu for sometime before he finally got hit with it..and besides you saw sasuke wanted to use kirin so it's debatable he could have slowed down to use oro's body replacement technique..with Might gai who has the gates ...he easily dodges it....lol what makes you think gated gai can't dodge sasuke's sight..please you have to be joking if you truly believe Gai can't dodge sasuke's amaterasu in his gates..gaara said his movement isn't human and you think he can't dodge sasuke's amaterasu...the SFX from the scan says movement ,meaning sasuke actually moved and dodged it..if Gai's movement is not human he walks past it then lol...you said if he can evade Itachi's, sure he can..but you assumed he can't with sasuke..I'm done arguing here...even if the manga shows Gai dodging amaterasu..people would still make something up on why he can't

Unless you want to tell me Gai is faster than Juubito. Gaara also said part one Lee's movements aren't human. Does he dodge Ama as well? Vague statements with nothing definitive mean nothing. I want something concrete like, "He's faster than Ay!" or "Not even Sharingan can track him!", not baseless hype words. If you want to ignore what is clearly shown, and simply assume Gai can do something with nothing even hinting that he can, that is your business. I'll change my opinion whe something like the 8th Gate convinces me.

I actually re-read that chapter now and saw he wasn't really..I saw him on the ground holding his eyes after he countered tsukyomi so guess he wasn't weakened after all..my bad
