I dont understand why people are beginning to be butthurt over the explicit facts that have been shown on gais speed. Sasuke had to use eton shield to compensate for his sharingan not being to keep up with Ay. Im using this as an example to illustrate my point.

Gaara saw Ay fight and he never complimented his speed, but when Gai went full speed Gaara lost his shi t.

Also Madara was able to react to Ay in his base form whereas Juubi Mads was being pushed back by Gai.

Also Gai intercepted that attack that was faster than Kamui phasing, which says a lot.

Did you not see him following Juubito, the fastest person alive at that time? The same guy that outright blitzed Hashirma and Tobirama, the other fastest man alive, and gave even Naruto, the current fastest alive issues with following him?
