This has happened before, not only with Gai and Kakashi.
I've seen it every since I joined this base.

When one character does something spectacular for a moment, everyone starts overrating him.

Has happened with Raikage, Tsunade, Kakashi, Gai...

These are only few of the recent ones..

sorry what i meant was after he used mourning tiger or whatever he was a sitting duck, he wasnt still useing techs that take serious tolls on your body repeatedly like he has in this fight is what i meant.

same with kakashi.

look people, were not saying that they suck or mad or whatever you want to call it.

where saying that there clearly, trolling the laws of useing techniques that have taken a dramatic toll on them in the past.

its even worst for kakashi because he isnt a uchiha and he is spamming kamui like its kage bushin, and useing charka depleting moves with 0 fatigue or anything.

Gai can withstand the 6th gate with some fatigue and has held off the effects of the 7th gate for a little while, so he's not gonna collapse immediately.

I think Guy and Kakashi are gaining chakra from the life force that Naruto and the 9 tails is giving off....especially if Uzamaki is a directly related to the Senju

Gai is a very underrated character, so it's gonna boost his popularity.

No one is saying that he could destroy madara in one move, at least for now.

He doesn't have the same hype as others do, so people are just not gonna take him so lightly anymore.

so how can he use the 7 gates and multi moves, and not have the same outcome?

kakashi has used kamui 5+ times for the first time ever, and he even used it to somehow escape obito's diminsion?
he was stabbed in the leg, and chest was sliced up twice, but shows no side effects.?

this is indeed the first time this has ever happen in the manga!

this is what people are mad about! they seemed to gain two classes of ranking outa no where!

before it was well known that MS sasuke was stronger than kakashi.

Now im almost postive that if kakashi has kage level charka.

take a look at the paths fight....he couldnt even solo one of them w/o being killed!

now he is takeing on the leader of akatsuki? and is the first person to have escaped obitos prison, useing obito's method...

its just a bit much to take in.

i like kakashi and gai but lets be honest, who thought they would be doing what there doing now? other than a fanboy

Gai only just opened the 7th gate just now, so he's not gonna feel the effects for a little while.

Idk about Kakashi. He shoulda been out of chakra several chapters ago. I'm starting to think that maybe the BM cloak sorta regenerated their chakra. :shrug:

Well,me? I like every character in this manga, even the less liked ones because I consider that every character has its role in the manga and signifies something.
So yes, I did like Gai before this move.

Maybe that's going to happen, who knows, the war is still not over, however, I don't see them getting the same special treatment.

How about the fact Guy did that to Susano'o with ONLY TAIJUTSU, NOT WITH NINJUTSU. Only Tsunade has done a feat like this, and most members here consider her below Kage level.
