Gai: Please stop over-reacting

OK. So Gai managed to send Madara's Susano'o flying. So it seems Hirudora overpowered Susano'o.

BUT SO WHAT? Why do people think that, just because of that 1 feat, he automatically becomes Kage level (or worse >Kage level)??? What bull.

Yes, i don't deny it takes considerable power to damage a Susano'o. But Gai had to use one of his most powerful moves just to do that. Off the cuff i can think of other Kage who managed to do it rather effortlessly:

1) Onoki: Destroyed twenty five FULLY FORMED Susano's with 1 jutsu (albeit with some help from Tsunade, but still)

2) Mei: Knocked back the same Susano'o as Gai did, with a simple Suiton, which she managed to pull off twice with little effort.

3) Tsunade: Made a giant hole in Madara's Susano'o with a single punch (not even a technique).

SO, TELL ME, HOW IS GAI>KAGE again?

It's not hating, it's just the people started to overreact on him.

OT: gai sensei and kakashi are "arguably" kage level strength...its fine if you dont agree with that but its pretty much a fact....seeing how only 'Kage-level' ninja are the only ones CLOSE enough to even fight against obito and edo madara

take a look at the last time he went 6 7 gates, he was powerless against 30%kisame clone.

now he goes 7 gates against tailed beast, uses strongest move twice or once.

no side effects, still standing, nothing.


so this new guy and kakashi are clearly above kage level, since they seem to gain tailed beast charka levels

and resistance against side effects that have hindered them in the past

Funny, I seem to recall that when gai went gates in Kisame, he destroyed him. Not the other way around.

Gai is a very underrated character, so it's gonna boost his popularity.

No one is saying that he could destroy madara in one move, at least for now.

He doesn't have the same hype as others do, so people are just not gonna take him so lightly anymore.
