Gai is the strongest taijutsu user with feats. We've never really seen anything notable combat wise from hamura.

And even if hamura were the strongest taijutsu user, the 8th gate probably at least puts gai on part with him, seeing the way he threw around godara.

Gai is clearly the best taijutsu user in the series but here you go once again trying to sound smart by saying the dumbest shit about Hamura's taijutsu. Hamura was never shown throwing a punch, kick, karate chop, nothing but you somehow managed to form a "argument" (if that's what you wanna call it) going into detail about his taijutsu and why it's better than Gai's with all his feats in pure taijutsu...8 gates Gai lol smh whole argument comes down to "he's Hamura so he's automatically better".
