he needs a water and gaara's sand could easly cover the whole mist.

They should fight on the beach, where there is sand and water but I think Gaara will win. Hidden Mist Tech wont help, Gaara can sense people walking on his sand like he did against Muu

This is indeed an interesting match up. I think it heavily depends on the environment where they fight. Gaara defenitly has the advantage in terms of Chakra reserves & Range atttacks, while Zabuza is skilled in sneak attack & is a water user.

If this takes place on a desert or plain ground far away from any water resources Zabuza's in big trouble.

But if this took place in a watery area Zabuza will have a winning chance.

Although Zabuza is strong and has water i honestly don't believe he is a kage level ninja. Gaara can make much more sand then he can make water.

Gaara wud crush him, literally.

There is a way for zabuza to win if:

- The battle takes place on a lake.
- gaara's sand is weak to water
- gaara doesn't have a way to locate zabuza in the mist

And even with all of these "ifs" this situation will only give zabuza a shot at winning.

gaara's sand would still stop zabuza's attacks, regardless of the mist. and he's not fast enough to bypass the shield of sand.

unless gaara is stupid enough to battle zabuza in a lake, he will win this. zabuza can't use huge suiton attacks in a place with no water unlike kisame and tobirama
