Gaara vs Tsunade,Kazekage vs Hokage

my friends and i especially "brianS" said that tsunade can beat gaara because her punch can break his sand defense..and i said that if deidara cant break it with his explosion tsunade cant. give me your views on this.

tsunades' punch is way stronger than deidarras c2 and c3 bombs she layes a large crack in the ground with one finger remember and dont forget she can summon those giant acid spitting slugs

Yea...but really...how often do the characters actually use their summons?

Basically Tsunade only uses the slug if

1) Someone else summons on her first

or

2) She needs to heal a lot of people at one time.

She wouldn't bust out a summon just to take on one opponent.

However, you have a point. If she were to do that, things MAY slip in her favor. I'm not entirely convinced that even that would be enough though as Gaara's attacks are so versatile.

Hmm...not really. Oro really only used it during the Sannin fight.

And Jiraya hardly ever actually attacked with his summons. He mainly used it for intimidation purposes.

But still, no one really uses summons on a 1 on 1 fight.

also kyubbi naruto oro summoned lots of snakes sasuke vs danzaou sasuke summoned a hawk do you need more examples

as your friend said, tsunade could posibl destroy gaara?s sand defense but that would imply getting close to gaara wich isnt easy.
*as seen in the third shippuden movie, gaara can turn his body into sand and that way he cant be harmed by phisical attacks wich is mostly what tsunade has
*tsunade only summons katsuyu in desperate situations and it wouldn?t be much of use in a fight lke this since its most like a suppport summon wich takes care of healing and such.
*gaara can fight from a distance(even fly) and if he doesnt get close to tsunade he will be fine
think of it this way: tsunade was practically forced by jiraya to be the hokage , it issnt like she deserved the title and everyone agreed on her having it ; now gaara on the other hand was promoted to kazekage because of its abbilities and intelect and many other qualities.

Ughh, as for the Jiraya VS Pain, that would be because the first body of Pain Jiraya found could only use summons.

For Oro VS Naruto, those were minor summons, not the Boss summon, so doesn't count.

And in Sasuke VS Danzou he didn't have the hawk attack, he used it to dodge.

So yes, find me 5 good example where someone simply used a boss summon to fight another opponent that didn't have a summon, and I may change that part of my statement.

But as I said before, I don't even think the slug would help her that much if she did summon it. >.<

and keep in mind that gaara can also make sand from the rocks around him as well. if gaara were to fight tsunade in a dessert he would lose just look at when he fought deidara he control so much sand that it could hardly move.

gaara is the only one from that village with any talent, thats for one, tsunade is compared to jiriya and orochimaru and if you want to compare gaara, your telling me that gaara stands a chance against those two also.
