Gaara vs Sasuke

I think it's equal saskue had a darker past and present than gaara but he also did go overboard and gaara never eaven had anybody care about him his entire life so equal treatment

This isn't about them fighting. Perhaps the title of the thread is a bit misleading, but if you actually read the initial post you'd see that it's about a completely different subject matter. It's about who's folly should be pardoned: Gaara's or Sasuke's.

If this was steered towards fighting the obvious answer would be Sasuke at this point.

Gaara was a demon and killed/ hurt alot of people, then became the leader of the village that hated him.....

Sasuke somewhat the same thing...... But if you look at it properly he never tried to kill anyone unless they stood in his way. Example when he tried to kill Danzo, he was saying to the kage's too move out off my way and what not. He has only killed danzo, itachi, Oro, and forced diedera to blow up. So really he somewhat hasn't done something wrong other than kill bad people.
People my say thay he tried to capture killa bee, but then again he didn't really, also tobi was surprised that killa bee was a clone and stated the sasuke should have seen that.

I don't really like sasuke but he still has a chance to come back to the LIGHT SIDE xd
Plus now that he is with itachi, he will turn good and i have a really good feeling that sasuke well be the one to bring down Madara....

I mean yea sasukes pretty bad but all he's really done thats so bad is killed danzo, an he was a curupt ******* an a bad leader anyway, i remember when pain attacked the leaf danzo an his aubu people were under the city chillin an he said theyd come out when it was over smh

But gaara on the other hand killed alot of people from his village an was apart of a plot to destroy the leaf village which left the 3rd hokage(which people actually cared about) dead...

sasuke hasnt really caused alot of harm, he kidnap an clone killer bee, he attacked the 5 kage but none were seriously injured an he killed danzo but he's a ******* so no1 cares, I think they will get over wat hes done

Sasuke killed a Kage Elect enough said. Gaara on the other hand I believe the people he killed were people he defeated during missions. Maybe he didnt hae to kill them but he didnt show mercy.

Okay so this is not a battle at all.

This actually looks at the two characters histories. I was talking with another member about the fact that Gaara received a pardon of sorts for the murders he committed and the things he did when he was younger and had Shukaku within him.
The other member felt that because Gaara's crimes have been over-looked,that Sasuke's could too.

I personally feel that Sasuke has done things which are many times worse than what Gaara did and also that Gaara had special circumstances to be considered.

This isn't about me though,this is about what you,the readers think.

There are to many parties Involved tho Unlike the The garra arc Where it was just the Hidden sand And leaf they both wanted to avoid a war and settled to and agreement But unlike that time there are to many parties involved this time he may be forgiven by 1 or 2 villages but I cant see someone like the raikage who was going to sacrifice himself to kill sasuke agreeing to pardon sasuke . if the leaf where to forgive sasuke then it would be a war i highly doubt that someone like the raikage will accept it the 5 kage and the head Samurai Came to a decision He is wanted internationally if i committed a serious murder in the usa and then went to mexico the Mexican government would either give me back to the usa or kill me themselves They wouldn't risk there whole country's integrity for just 1 mindless american criminal.sasuke attacked the 5 kage and there subordinates and killed and attacked samurai There are to many parties involved in this he may be forgiven by 1 or 2 but all the kage decided they should kill or capture sasuke And they even nearly succeeded if it wasn't for tobi Interfering. If the hidden leaf forgive sasuke then they are going against the summits orders the other 4 kage and head samurai will have no choice but to attack the leaf for aiding a criminal And they wont agree to peace for the sake of avoiding war for there is already a war

My point is he was largely involved in allowing the war to come to pass...he didn't need to know he was actively doing this.
The fact he didn't know that this was coming though,does kinda show he's a touch stupid...

Well Garaa should receive a pardon rather than Sasuke because Garaa changed, became stronger, and devoted himself to better standards and helping others. That is why he is the Kazikage. Sasuke on the other hand has no intention of changing, he wants to avenge Itachi and destroy the hidden leaf (kill everyone in it). Sasuke has past the boundary and is only getting more brutal. He feels no guilt in killing an ally and murders on his own mind set. He doesn't deserve a pardon, and frankly, he doesn't seemingly care.

Exactly it. People here are all assuming that Gaara killed many,many people because he killed to validate his existence.
If anyone knew the 1st thing about Gaara,they would know that he was normally the epitome of civility but when Shukaku began to take control/speak to him,that's when that Gaara came out.

Shows he cares about actions and civility...Basically normally Gaara is a decent person who serves his village well. Only when the Shukaku plays up,does he act up.

Apart from going rogue,which is a crime.
Apart from trying to kill Yamato,Sakura and Naruto when they met him & Oro.

He did things which didn't affect just the leaf you know. That's why he's in so much poop. He's made attacks which would have been declarations of war,had he been operating under his villages command,such as attempting to take Bee.

It's not the fact that He's only affected one village,it's the fact he's affected them all.

lol i personally agree with the thread maker, gaara had special circumstances and was made that way because he was shunned by his village because he was jinchuurike...... sasuke was looked up to by many people in his village because he was uchiha and yet he still turned out to be a far worse than gaara, IMO sasuke should not get pardonned for wat he has done.
