First of all, what makes you think that Deva can make all the Peins gain flight? Second, what makes you think they can successfully do so when Gaara raises his sand near instantly [

]? Not to mention Shukaku as well. And what do you mean Gaara would have to use his gourd sand? The desert sand can do everything the guard sand can.

The AoE of ST would hit all the Peins as well, you know that right? Plus, it would only momentarily deflect the sand... once the repelling force diminishes, the same sand then proceeds again to overwhelm Pein and exploit his 5 second intervals.

He doesn't have to make a sphere. (Naruto was on preta, preta was not moved. He can push whatever he wants from wherever he wants ( Well in a relative range of course) That is how he mirrors flight, no reason to believe he can't have force act on other pains as well.

He only needs a moment once the pains are launched all of gaara's non gourd sand would be near the group of pains so he'd have no choice but to use his chakra infused sand which is constantly near him.

Shukaku? Tailed beast chakra still gets absorbed.

It's not always a sphere, but with an attack style like Gaaras that can come from all directions, it's going to have to be as it isn't a single target. And again, once the repelling force stops, the sand will immediately come right back at him and Pein will be defenceless for 5 seconds. It's not like ST permanently gets rid of the sand. Yeah, he can, doesn't mean he can continuiously and effectively control them in the air. And is there even a scan showcasing Pein using this ability on 5 different targets at once? Don't believe so.

Gaaras sand manipulation shared pretty much the same amount of panel time as Kakashi's Kamui and Minato's FTG executions [

] Again, what speed feats from Pein do you have that suggests he'll successfully take himself and the rest of them into the air before Gaara immediately catches them from the already existing sand that they're stepping on in a sand bind and crushing them. And what? The location is set in a desert... Gaara has literally like an unlimited amount of sand at his disposal. You're essentially saying Gaara is going to run out of desert sand, so he would have to rely on his gourd sand.

Shukaku can still utilize the desert sand the same way Gaara can, so it's not being absorbed.
