Might not even be that difficult unless they can levitate above the sand but if they are standing on the sand, anything can happen.

Since when could the paths levitate other then Deva? It would still be a difficult fight for Gaara since he has 6 opponents to deal with, along with multiple summons, one of which that can fly. With unlimited sand to his disposal, this would be such an incredible fight.
