i really dont understand what you mean by this..Pein is an extension of nagato,u cant just separate them....Its like saying sasuke without the sharingan.U_U

Its seems the odds are stacked against pain but gara doesnt know that the real pain isnt there so he wont win .
1) Pain can just use shinra tensai and blow all of the sand ages away from garas use so he can only use his gored sand
2)If gara manages to kill1 of pains bodys he can always bring it back via king of hell
3) Pain can summon at least 2 beasts at a time with a linked rinnegan to his other 6 paths
4) pain can use all chackra natures and ying and yang release
5) pain has heaps of chackra due to being and uzamaki and having the rinnegan
6) Chibaku tensai , if you read the official naruto wiki it says pain would have killed B and naruto if itachi wasn't there and that it took the combined efforts of those 3 people to subdue pain and seal him in itachis sword of sealing totsuka or something like that

if i think i understand that your saying that chibaku tensai is usless so is shinra tensai why is that you cant just say pain cant use his main jutsu its liek saying gara cant use sand its stupid ?

Nagato is pain thats his jutsu 6 reanimated corpse used as if they where is own and each corpse having a certain path E.G..

Preta Path CAN absorb ALL chakra based attacks. People will often say he can't absorb physical attacks. Last time I checked, oil is physical. The Preata Path absorbed an oil based attack from Jiraiya.

Pain wins. Flying summons more than compensate for the terrain disadvantage. Further Pain's lobster's Suiton will mess Gaara up seeing as it isn't normal liquid like oil. "Normal liquid" denoting liquid that Gaara's sand can battle against.

Pain will more than easily keep Gaara on the defensive, so there's room for offense, even if it involves throwing the black rods like harpoons.
Shinra Tensei would still harm Gaara even if he is protected, given if it is powerful enough. Gaara isn't inhuman like a Sage or a Jinchuriki, so he won't be tanking that. Lastly Chibaku Tensei won't be useless at all, unless Gaara has a way of destroying it, last I checked Gaara doesn't so Chibaku Tensei is still a viable option.

P.S. there is still Gedo Mazo.

Last time I checked, Madara could not absorb Gaara's sand, why? because it is a physical attack and not made out of chakra, so your argument is invalid.

I understand what this guy means by chibaku tense is useless. You see if the jutsu is activated, it will only pull sand towards it which will allow Gaara to use a very massive sand funeral which will crush the small orb in the center due to the large amount of pressure exerted by the large amount of sand it has pulled towards itself. As for shinra tensei the sand will just cushion the effect after all shinra tensei is not more powerful than c3.

Might not even be that difficult unless they can levitate above the sand but if they are standing on the sand, anything can happen.
