Jiraiya. Naruto beat Gaara in a fight in one the shippuden movies (I think 3rd one) and could of rasengan him in the face but stopped. This was pre pain arc so Naruto didn't train to be a sage and surpass Jiraiya yet so of course Jiraiya would win.

Gaara is a stationary defensive fighter but Jiraya has experience and has actually shown a diverse amount of jutsus

So how can gaara beat jiraiya. Jiraiya can summon a lot of tods,super gaint rasengen,a lot of ninjutsu n taijutsu and also sage mode(he can use genjutsu also). And gaara havent 1 tail now. So jiraiya wins this fight.

Ur talking bout a kid Gaara who lost to Naruto thnx to the kyuubi power and plot. This Gaara's sand no longer moves slow, the old sand cant block lee's taijutsu, this sand can block amatarasu! So Gaara cud just use a giant sand tsunami that wud come way faster and kill Jiraiya who isnt know for his speed, he also has air advantage and cud crush Jiraiya. Also J-man can never get in the air that high and also he cud just defend against the genjutsu by making a sand ball around him becuz anyone can jus figure out it genjutsu just like Pain did but he got caught, but Gaara is wrapped in sand so the sounds wont come in his ear or he can just put sand in his ears lol.
