Mizukage. Gaara would have just kept attacking an illusion. Even if he did know it was a fake, there is no way he would have known what was causing the illuison, and even if he did spot the clam, that clam would have been just an illusion, gaara's sand wasnt that effective on Mizukage, and Joki boi is too fast for gaara's sand. Bad match up/

After his first attack failed against the illusion, he would more than likely release his sticky sand throughout the area and find him. After that with jouki boy, he can use basic physics to figure and come up with a counter.

Mizukage has no way to hurt gaara,he can only protect himself fron sand coffins via hydrification,sand sensing finds the clam,gaara crushes minerals in the ground to make more sand and to strenghten his defence as said against kimimaro,and gold is a mineral,not to mentio gold isnt the only thing that can cool things down.

For the genjutsu, obviously the mizukage will summon the clam during the fight and Gaara will eventually know the cause of the genjutsu.
Oil is not greater than sand as both of the substances nullify each other.
Jouki boy is faster than normal desert sand but not that in his gourd.
Gaara could bring out and mix gold with his sand as he has been shown to have that ability.
Overall, Gaara has sealing techniques to save him the trouble.
Gaara is undoubtedly the winner here unless you are blinded by hate.

Gold dust IS help (he would not have stopped joki boy without it, he doesn't carry it himself and was just lucky it was available), so is Mizukage telling him the secrets of his clam genjutsu, Onoki explaining what joki boy does and Onoki destroying Mizukage's clam.

the only secrest the mizukage told gaara abt the clam was that he needed to kill the real one,if the fought and the guy summoned a clam and suddenly it released a mist and there were illusions everywhere,wha would you think? Obviously it's the clam that's causing it,sand sensing finds the clam and then gaara destroys it,mizukage dosent have anything to get past gaara's sand,water gun isnt doing anything to gaara and what other water techs has he shown?,his oil is only used for his hydrification and joki boy,and pyramid has shown to easily overpower the hydrification.

Gold dust is a tool gaara used alongside the hail and his own sand,and he can easily select items to integrate into his sand,gold dust isnt the only thing that can cool things down,not to mention gaara can just select it and integrate it anyway,gaara figured out what to do with it,how to go about it and when to pull it off,he can do it again. His bushin feints fooled the mizukage twice,he can use that as well.

1) if the mizukage summons his clam and then suddenly the field genjutsus starts after it releases the mist,the first thing that comes to mind is that the clam is making the genjutsu,so gaara will destroy it.

2)he can only protect himself from a sand coffin,he can't use oil tech can he?,and i am pretty sure he didnt lay a finger on gaara when they fought and was just breaking out of sand coffins through out. Gaara survived and protected his division from jok boy,he can survive it well,he selects minerals in the ground to increase his defence right?,so he can easily select one suitable for this job,and a sand tsunami will even suffice here.
