So what do you think if they had fought all out without help. Could Gaara win?
I personally think 2nd Mizukage is stronger.

Nidaime Mizukage. Gaara couldn't have won without his father's gold sand, which I would consider help. I'm not even sure if he could've destroyed the clam without being killed.

Gaara already won
In which conditions did he won?
- Mizukage even before the fight told him he was in a genjutsu. What if Mizukage don't tell that? Would Gaara be able to notice that in time?
- During the genjutsu, Mizukage didn't even attack once, when he could have. What if he had use that genjutsu and kill them with jockey boy during that?
- Tsuchikage is the one who destroyed the claim and was there to explain how jockey boy works and that when he use that clone he must hide himself cuz he becomes weak. A sensor ninja helped Gaara to detect him at that time.

Gaara wins!

He now has gold sand to use as well, now he knows how to defeat him.

Read that battle again.Gaara said by himself that the hail was enough to stop Mizukage's clon.
Take into account that mizukage was an edo and he saw Gaara fighting his father. They both had intel on each other.I think Gaara was in disadvantage because he had to protect everybody, including Oonoki.
He was in a dessert, yes, but a sand tsunami can do that job too.
He couldn't destroy the clam by himself? Giant sand burial,or plug its hole x)

Ehm, no. Since you're supposed to be a fan of Gaara, you should actually know it better. He used the sand made cold by the hail to chill Jouki Boy, preventing the explosion - but it was the gold that made him heaver, enabling Gaara to get a hold of him. Without that, Jouki Boy would've simply dodged Gaara's sand. The gold also played an important role in stopping the explosion itself, since its heat conduction supported the cold sand and trapped Jouki Boy after becoming hard. Without the gold, Gaara wouldn't have managed to stop Jouki Boy.

No, Gaara obviously had the advantage at that fight. Regardless protecting the others he had Oonoki as backup, was in the desert and Mizukage told them he was using Genjutsu. Even though Gaara sensed the clam, destroying it is a whole other story. By far not impossible, but hard while Mizukage targets him - that's why Oonoki had to do the job, even though there was an entire division. It might even be combined with Jouki Boy.

If its in the storyline as a rematch maybe but 1v1 no knowledge is mizukage easy and gaara only had the gold sand left from him dad, if he doesn't start carrying some with him all the time and only has his sand he won't be able to stop joki boi again. So in very specific situations gaara could win.

I like the second but gaara wins even without the gold dust a sand tsunami would be enough to cool down jokey boy and stop the blast plus senser sand can find the 2nd mizukage in the mirage so theres no need to stop it if he knows were he is.....

Mizukage. Gaara would have just kept attacking an illusion. Even if he did know it was a fake, there is no way he would have known what was causing the illuison, and even if he did spot the clam, that clam would have been just an illusion, gaara's sand wasnt that effective on Mizukage, and Joki boi is too fast for gaara's sand. Bad match up/
