gaara`s defense better than susanno...?

its exciting to see that gaara has gold dust with his sand but can it really be better than susanno because susanno only protects the user. what are your thoughts on gaaras sand:shrug:?

if gaara had gold dust, then maybe it would be better cuz he can BLOCK amatersu, and he can protect others..but if he had iron sand..his defence would be incomparable

Both defense are not that strong. Susanoo's weakness was seen in the battle of Sasuke Vs. Mizukage and/or Danzou. Gaara's Sand defense is weak against Suiton Jutsu.

2. Gaara seems to be able to use Gold Sand, so it seems that he can gradually upgrade his defense.

You serious? Gaara's defense is basically sand.
Sasuke hasnt used susanoo's final version in any of his previous fights but its been enough to keep him alive.

Why not?, they can all gather in susanoo.
Besides im sure he protected karin with susanoo at the kage meeting

Well Susaano drains the user of there energy rather quickly. It's taxing after an extended time of use.

Other than that, Susaano is better than Gaara's sand. Well Itachi's at least.
