Logic, totsukya gets blocked by sand?
Did you forget that totsukya chopped up orochi hydra?

Totsukya is a sealing technique, that means gaara's and his little defense will be absorb.

Ms Sasuke already said his incomplete susanoo is more absolute then gaara's sand

Yeah,actually Gaara would only need to disperse the sand of his armour(which is affected by amaterasu) and kill Itachi with his own technique.
